I just had the best experience here with Gene! He didn't try to sell me anything but he helped me find the correct shoe for me (we think). He laid out the options and I picked the one I wanted. We also had some great baseball talk which I enjoyed. Go here for shoes!!

The people working in this store are awesome! My wife has been to this store several times due to past painful, chronic foot problems. She has always received great service and bought products that have been very helpful. Yesterday was my turn. The ladies were awesome and they identified a shoe for me that has brought my persistent shoe/foot aches to an end. I highly recommend the very knowledgeable and helpful staff, and the products they recommend. I will be back :)

The person assisting us was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and patient as we looked for, and found a supportive but nice looking pair of shoes that were appropriate for use with the custom orthotic inserts my wife was having made. With the help of New Balance Staff. We made the perfect choice. The shoes and inserts are working together very well to make a significant difference in both comfort and achievable distance. Nicole at the NEW BALANCE store in Nanaimo provided me with exceptional service today. Her skill and patience in finding the right hiking shoes for my very wide and arthritic feet was very much appreciated. So invested was she in finding the right trail shoes for me, I then spontaneously decided to buy a pair of running shoes as well. The service in store is excellent and quality of the shoes is as well. A great store for full time runners. Most shoes with some exceptions are in the 150 to 200 range so not for everyone's budget

I swear by New Balance shoes for my running and walking, but today I was looking for a solution for my mom who has significant arthritis. Anne at New Balance is AMAZING and was so helpful and knowledgeable - and took the time to find just the right one. My mom is walking on air now from the great experience and fabulous shoes - and excited to clock more steps pain free. THANKS ANNE!
