Atlantic Heating & Cooling

Very frustrated with the warranty obligations of Atlantic Heating and Cooling for our Fujitsu Heat Pump. Been waiting 4 months now for a part that has no expected arrival date. Had to use way more oil than normal this winter, not fun with the price shooting up on almost a daily basis( so much for buying a heat pump to reduce cost and lower the carbon footprint). Now with summer approaching we are not looking forward to not having air condition and no mention of a loaner air conditioner in the meantime if need be. Takes forever to reach these folks by phone and although they are pleasant enough, they won't go above and beyond( not even reassurance) for their customers. What good is a 10 year warranty if you can't get your equipment repaired. For something as popular as heat pumps this day in age, you shouldn't have to ring the phone off the hook until someone from off island answers- then be told they will get a local rep to get back to you. This is about the worst customer service I have ever witnessed, they really need to get more organized. My advise - stay away from Fujitsu. I will revisit this review if and when this issue is resolved.Update - finally got our heat pump fixed. Up and running with no issues and great service, too bad it had to take so very long.

This company provided one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. First, the timer on one of the two units they sold me has never worked. The motors on both units (one of which rarely gets used conked out in just over a year).When I called to have them fix it, it took three service calls. Each technician disagreed with the diagnosis of the previous technician . It was finally fixed on the fourth visit. I was overcharged for the services provided. Notwithstanding the terrible service, they insisted on payment of all those invoices or threatened collections. No one in any position of authority returned my calls or spoke to me about the issue.I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

So disappointed in this company. We received an Invoice today for a service call that was supposably made 3 years ago! Called the office to ask what it was going on and they informed me that a tenant called in and added their name to my account to have permission for a technician to go over. No reason as to why the tenant's name was added and given permission. Wanted my Credit Card over the phone and that they are going to send me to collections. Good Products and the Heat Pump works great but customer service is pretty terrible. Would not recommend to anyone.

Great customer service from start to finish.Staff were quick to come to our home to provide a quote, turn around time to installation was less than 2 weeks, and the installers were professional. Very happy with our heat pump!

I got a Fujitsu heat pump from these folks a couple of years ago. I was very pleased with the friendly efficient installation. We were so pleased with our Fujitsu we had another one installed downstairs last month. We had the first one cleaned by the technician last month as well. Same great friendly service. I really appreciated the attention to detail .

Have waited since January to have my heat pump fixed. Understand issue with parts back ordered but then time comes around to finally have a service tech show up to the house last week. It was booked 2 weeks out and then the day of service I get a call saying he might be a bit late so I waited around at the house for my 1:30 to 2:30. 5pm came around and no one at the office seems to know where the tech went. I then got a call the next day saying the tech couldn’t make it and they had to reschedule me for another 2 weeks wait. I have never been given such a run around by a company in my life. Do not recommend them

Had a great experience with Atlantic Heating and Cooling. John who came to give us a quote and explain the product was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was not at all pressuring but knew the product inside and out.Sean and Brent who came for the installation were so tidy, friendly and professional! They were right on time and installed the heat pump within the time frame they said.We are very impressed and satisfied with the heat and the comfort of having our Fujitsu heat pump. We would totally recommend this product and company.

I was very pleased Atlantic Heating and Cooling and will happily use them again if I decide to install a second heat pump on the second level of my new home. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and informative. The installers did quality work and explained how to use the system to me in detail. I also appreciated how quickly my calls were returned and the timely manner with which my installion was arranged.

This was the best experience. I love the new heat pump, not sure how I managed without one. The young men who came to install it we very polite and efficient. They explained how to use it in great detail. Everything was done in a timely manner. When we get our new heat pump upstairs next year we will definely use this company.

I purchased two wall mounted Fujitsu Halcyon Multi-Room System Heat Pumps and four months after they were installed, both broke. One makes a loud ticking noise, and the other doesn't work at all. They have been broken for nearly 3 months now and I'm still waiting for them to be repaired with no repair date from the company yet. I had to purchase several space heaters from Canadian tire, and my electric bill has exceeded $1,100 a month for several months - this is really painful after spending almost $9,650 on both units. This company is not great at returning calls which is a large part of the reason for the delay. They are pleasant enough on the phone, just poorly organized. I know they don't manufacture this terrible product, but I expected them to do a better job fulfilling their warranty obligations. I'll revisit my rating once this is resolved... if ever. STAY AWAY from Fujitsu Halcyon heat pumps.
