Countryside Kennels - Amherstburg

My Harlow has been attending Countryside Kennels Day Care for over 2 years. She loves her days at ‘puppy camp’ and can’t get out of the car fast enough to see her friends and staff. I have also used Countryside for boarding and she had fabulous care. I highly recommend them as a safe and fun place for your canine companion.

As the proud owner/operator I can assure Ms Flood that Countryside Kennels - Amherstburg was NOT the facility that lost the Pug dog in summer 2019, in fact Countryside launched a massive team of staff, neighbours and friends to help in the SAR of the little guy who was eventually found. It's unfortunate people prejudge others when they hear a story then post wrong information on line in a rush to bring attention to themselves. Wonderful place to bring my dogs! I visited many kennels before I found this place and I am very happy Everytime! They have snap chat, Instagram and Facebook where you can see updates of your dogs and see them playing with other dogs. They take the dogs out multiple times a day into a large fenced in area and it's great for my high energy dogs. Everytime they come home the dogs are both exhausted! Highly recommend!

Great place to leave your dog for a day or overnight. We left our golden retriever with them for a few days when when we were moving into our new house. They took really good care of him. The only problem was that our dog didn't want to come home with us after being around all the other pooches. He had a great time. Being able to leave our pet at Countryside gave us an easier time with the big move. Thank you so much Countryside!!

Great staff and great facility. There is a very large fenced off field for the dogs to run around and roam freely which is perfect for anyone who doesn't want their dog stuck in a small kennel while you're gone on vacation. I highly recommend this place and I will use it every time I go out of town.

THE BEST and only place for your dogs while you are away. The owners are on site and provide care to your animals as if they were their own. The 3 acre dog park and kennels are immaculate.

Very clean and professional kennel. Our dog was treated well and seemed to enjoy her stay over the weekend.

Very friendly staff, they seem to really care about the animals they have. Huge fenced area for the dogs, and the kennels themselves seem clean enough. They were pretty flexible about drop-off and pickup times as well.

Always a pleasure!! Our dogs LOVE staying here! Our one pup is very reactive with other dogs and they handle her so well!!! Couldn't ask for a better place to let our doggos stay!! ❤
