We went with this company based on reviews and wanting to go with a local company.They are great for communication but that's about it.We had our porch entrance layered with natural stone including steps down to a built paver landing with garden wall.Multiple gaps in the wall stones due to bad cuts and uneven foundation. Missing grout in many places. Chipped stone used on corner pieces, uneven natural stone on the porch and very uneven pavers placed on the landing.The gaps in the wall joshes reply was it's the style of stone you chose" when most of the other joints were nice and tight.. he just simply didn't want to replace and re-level the stone.For the uneven placed natural stone on the outer ledge Josh said "well it's too late now to level it

Just had my backyard and front landing completed. The team was friendly, professional and efficient. Their workmanship is top notch and the quality of the materials is fantastic. I was impressed with how considerate they were with their worksite and my neighbours. Everything was done in a day and a half. Highly recommend. Happy to support a small local business. Kerney & Sons replaced and expanded our 2 level interlock patio, as well as installed and rebuilt the retaining walls and steps in place for it. Fantastic, professional crew, who went above and beyond to protect our lawn, keep things clean, and overall did a fantastic job! Josh was great in helping us bring our vision to life :) - would recommend them to anyone! So happy to have this beautiful new, functional space to enjoy in our yard!

This contractor is A1. They put in interlocking from the drive way to the front door. They also put in a French Drain. No more corroding side walk or ice due to the water drainage from the roof. All their work is excellent. The crew were hard working, always on time and very courteous. What a reliable contractor, price was right, well done. Josh was very accommodating, and a great listener. We engaged Kerney & Sons to reimagine our very old, worn and dated patio area adjacent to our driveway and backyard. It was a project that had been on our fix-it list since we’d bought the house but couldn’t find anyone who understood our vision and could address the significant grading irregularities of the space. Josh and team were amazing, from our first meeting to our last. They did a fabulous job. They were flexible, worked well with our fence contractor, were prompt and respectful, efficient, showed up on time, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves. Josh and team are a delight to work with. Highly recommend and will definitely work with them again.

Josh and his crew were excellent to work with and we are very happy with our new interlock patios, and other areas they repaired. Josh was very communicative, patient and helpful throughout the entire process. He and his crew made time and put in effort to ensure that the job was done just as we wanted. The crew worked hard, and were very courteous, skilled, timely, and thorough. The job was done much quicker than we expected, on budget, and the team went above and beyond to get all of the jobs and repairs done right. Kerney & Sons, removed an old walkway and retaining wall, excavated and replaced with new materials. In addition, they lifted an old circular brick patio without losing a single brick. It was relaid in its original shape and now looks as good as the day it was originally installed. We were most impressed with the quality of work, the diligence of the work crew and incredible followup. My wife and I would highly recommend this local firm.
