I have never been unhappy with a service at Beauty Basics! I go there for all my waxing, they are always thorough and efficient. But Amy completely transformed my face by shaping my eyebrows and doing microblading and microshading. She's a total genius when it comes to eyebrows. I've literally fallen in love with my face! I never realized how important eyebrows were to your overall appearance! I had quite a bit of my eyebrows missing (curse the pencil eyebrow trend!) But Amy has given me full eyebrows again that I absolutely love!!! I have full trust and confidence in her.

Always a welcoming and friendly environment! I have never left unhappy with my service! I apparently don’t take pictures of my services afterwards so this is the best I found of my mani a few weeks ago.

Amy & all the girls at Beauty Basics are amazing. They make you feel welcome, and you leave feeling better than ever. Amy is always great at accommodating changes to appointments & even squeezing you in last minute too!

Friendly little spot with a great team of ladies and fun music. Online booking was easy, I snagged a last min appointment the night before due to a cancellation. They did a great job on my pedicure!Update: 7 weeks later and I'm amazed by how well my pedi has held up (no gel or shellac used), I'll need to redo them but only because they're growing out.

Amy is a true professional and you can see she truly loves what she does. She’s worked hard to create a friendly, fun and inclusive space and Beauty Basics truly is just that! Whenever I’m in the area she’s always able to fit me in for a pedicure, eyebrow wax or teeth whitening and I’m always super impressed with the service. I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Beauty Basics. I met Amy last summer when she micro bladed both my moms and my eyebrows. Her salon was so relaxed and comfortable. I felt right at home. She did a fab job on my non existent brows. A year later and my brows still look natural and amazing. I returned for an annual touch up and received the same amazing service. I completely trust Amy with my brows

Wow! I didn't realize Beauty Basics by Amy does EVERYTHING! Now that they're in their new bigger location on Bobcaygeon Rd there are even more reasons to book a service or two. My massage with Brenda was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Amy here is an absolute life saver!! I had an event last minute that required me to get my makeup done and she came in on her day off to help me out. When I first walked in the door I could just feel the amazing atmosphere and how comfortable it was! When she started the makeup process I told her that I've never done makeup before on myself so this was entirely new to me, she was so patient with me and didn't judge me which made me feel so much better. We had really good conversations and I just felt at ease here. The other ladies who were in were all super nice and friendly as well! When Amy finished my makeup service and I looked in the mirror I couldn't believe that was me! For the first time in years I actually felt pretty and good about myself! I can't thank Amy enough for this, I walked out of that salon feeling like a whole new person and felt so confident! Amy thank you so much for helping me out! I won't forget this amazing experience I had at your salon!!
