Sizable SAQ location, no feeling of being cramped up while perusing what selections the particular location has purchased. Helpful and pleasant, quite abnormal for any of their personnel as unpleasant - no recollection of any encounter as of such personally. Unfamiliar with their wine collection though their choices of whiskey, vodka (and gin I believe) are better than decent. I especially have noticed the spectrum of price to quality is great.

the service is always good here, and i enjoy my visits. i had come for a particular bottle of wine which was supposedly ininventory, but they were out of it. i left with another good bottle.

Like must government run institutions, they hire staff that are really poor at customer service.They make you feel valueless, and that your there for them. lmao, they are just uneducated, over paid, dépanneur clerks punching a cash register at $30 dollars an hour protected by the union so that they pay the union fees with the money they tax the customers from Quebec with. That's it. That is what you contribute to society. So get real SAQ unionized employees, if the SAQ goes Elon Musk" one day

You would think that if a store had a monopoly in the whole province of Quebec that the service would be lousy the selection would be just so so and the stores would be yuck well not so with our SAQ great staff great selection and the prophet goes to help pay for our health care

**AVOID THIS STORE** I never considered writing a review but this one is worth reading. I went to SAQ with my friend on a Wednesday night to get some wine for my birthday. We got kicked out of the store because the cashier PATRICK had obviously a bad day". My friend did not have her ID on her but I was the one getting the wine (we're both over 21). He told us to leave now or he would get someone to put us at the door and that he does not have our patience anymore. We asked for the manager Cynthia to tell her that this is not the way to speak with customers

One of my favourite locations in Montreal! I came in and was immediately greeted and an employee recommended me a beautiful wine that I am excited to try. Great selection and overall a good store!

Great selection of wines and the staff is always so kind. The staff that is in the wine section are very well versed in the different wines and always give the best recommendation. This is my favorite SAQ in Montreal for that reason.
