Had to go there, to get clarification on a few personal matters

Some of the workers are great but alot can be very rude and disrespectful to ODSP recipients.

Not always the easiest people to try to work with. Now some workers are great and actually do what they are in that position for. And others, are impossible to work with. Very rude at times. But more or less it's like drawing straws.

I have had great workers for the most part. Dealt with say seven and only 1 was not helpful at all...she was actually nasty...... UPDATE...ran into a worker that was a bully and wasn't impressed.... won't give the name but did speak with a supervisor and had a great worker help fix everything and paid attention to the facts

My worker is totally awesome she understands and she gives me as much advice as possible

The secretaries are more qualified then the actual 'workers'. The supervisors are like the witches from my childhood nightmares and they're legit hiring social workers that are not registered with ontario colleges of social workers which means they're illegally working cases and you can tell most are only in it for a paycheck thinking they can't change a broken system anyway.. . . . Honesty and integrity go so much further than belittlement or entitlement, But not here...

Very nice and polite usually get back to me in a timely manner but never sent me travel money for Christmas , and now I'm two months behind again broke and hungry because I have to pay to go see me doctor out of town ☹️

Trying to get thru to your worker is never going to happen...I tried mine for 3 hours, if not longer and nothing. No call back or anything even though it was urgent. Not pleased with that. And I called 45 times in a row, I know little excessive but I need my ODSP card and now I've got no money for the weekend.

They try to help, and sometimes they don't great people

not sure where id be without this as im to sick to work. but i feel failed bu a worked not the program entirely. otherwise id if put a one star but its a specific worker i feel not helping not the program.... however i feel failed by my worker Craig Barrett ext 310. i have left a vm with him about 10 days ago yet to hear from him. again with front desk a week ago or more, and with him again on thursday, friday last week. no call back. i dont have caller id and he has been informed this several times and knows and has always left me a vm in the past and ive called back. i am disabled and cannot get to phone fast so often a vm has to be left as i dont make it before it kicks in. after this week i will no longer have a phone for him to call as i cannot afford it. ( and thats ok all i ever use it for is for my rides to dr appointments. which i shouldn't have to pay for a phone ( 69.99 for basic no features) just so i can have bct call me day before my ride. other people on odsp dont have to but i feel im being forced to. im being told im not aloud cabs only bct. hmmm how is this when others i know on odsp ( 3 people close to me i know) just call when they have an appointment and a cab is setup why do i have to struggle to get to my medical appointments so often and other have no issues.. ive begged for a meeting to explain all odsp things i need to know and i was setup for a short time slot and told not enough time sorry have other people to see. and never a meeting setup again to finish. so im left im limbo not knowing anything about odsp but being on it for going on 4 yrs now and met a worked once.i feel failed by this system and feel ill end up dying before a meeting is setup. and by then they wont have to as i wont be here to be at the meeting. they dont realize how much stress and tears they put on our shoulders...... a meeting or a cb is all ive been asking for. im sorry i have medical appointments im sorry im sick.
