Sam is super nice and goes all the way to make sure your instrument gets the care it needs. In my case, he re-modified a right-handed acoustic guitar that I had previously turned left-handed. He changed the nut and gave maintenance to the guitar. Great service in Midtown Toronto.

My experience was awesome here. We communicated over email to set up an appointment and he answered all of the questions that I had. I brought my guitar for a basic set up (he has the best prices that I could find), he walked me through everything that he'd be doing and why, and explained what was normal for a guitar and roughly how often certain services need to be done for optimal guitar care.He even gave me tips on amp settings and bar chords when he realized I will still new to electric guitars!By the end of my appointment when I dropped off my guitar, I felt entirely confident leaving it in his hands after his clear and concise description of all he would do.In the end, he went above and beyond for me, as he also filed down a couple frets that were getting sharp and attended to small things beyond a normal set up where required.The guitar was ready for pickup super quickly with a lower action, no buzz, and cleaner than ever. Super happy with my experience and I'll definitely be coming back when I need another set up or fix.

Brought my accoustic guitar here - the neck was slightly warped, the guitar had not seen any love in many years. Sam took excellent care of it, and he did so very quickly! He provided good advice, I think his rates were reasonable, and my guitar just feels, sounds and is generally much better off for having seen him. Highly recommend.

I reached out to Sam regarding a set up on my Ibanez RG as I’ve never had one done and figure DIYing could only get so far.Sams communication is top notch, letting me know exactly what to expect as well as things he will check immediately upon drop off, right in front of me!Ended up going all the way to the professional setup as some frets were identified as high. Sam will speak to you to find out exactly what you want to get out of the guitar, what you’re generally playing so he has an idea of use in the future.He ended up returning to me a different guitar than what I had dropped off, personally that’s how different it played and for the better.Action was unbelievably low yet chords and notes rung free, an issue where the G string echoed when struck and immediately muted resolved, and overall everything just felt “new”.Extremely friendly and helpful, to the point that he dropped the guitar off at my place nearby due to constraints with my vehicle. He continues to give advice and general conversation on equipment well after business was sorted.Absolute stand up by with great business and ethic, do not hesitate to drop your stringed instruments to him.

Excellent luthier. Very knowledgeable and professional. Sam carefully listened to all my requests and delivered my guitar back fast. Good communication + price + service. The instrument went from playable to stellar! He worked on my guitar with an evertune so I suggest giving him a call if you have a ET bridge and don’t want to mess with it!

Brought in my guitar which wasn’t in the greatest condition and I received it better than when I first bought it. Sam really took care of everything and made sure to spend the time and effort to make it play as good as it does. Sam gave a thorough and honest review of my guitar. fixed all the issues in short order, including providing all the shopping and purchasing of components all for a great rate.
