Kingsgate Mall
The mall that time forgot. This place is a classic East Van staple full of the weirdest assortment of characters you can imagine but oh so much character. I would be devastated if they ever shut this place down. You just never know what you’re going to see here. Plus, it actually does have the necessities—groceries, prescriptions drugs and booze! ;)

Kingsgate is like when u go to ur grandma's house and she offers u old candy and one of those electronic bingo games from a cereal box. It's nice but not really what you wanted but you don't really mind because hey, free candy.

Went here with my daughter. There's a Shoppers plus a few other stores. We went to Buy Low, daughter did her grocery shopping. Great choices of foods.

I’m pretty sure there’s got to be a dead body or two in this mall. Awfully creepy. The worst mall in all of BC. But hey, you can at least drink some sugarcane juice.

I know this place for more than 27 years, it has improved a lot with renovations. There used to be lots more shops along with Shoppers Drugs Mart now lots of shops have been replaced with mobile and Internet carriers. Pay less shoes shop is still there.

Decided to check It out as I was walking past. There are quiet a variety of stores! A little bit o everything is awesome for a smaller shopping mall.

This place has a unique charm. Tho close to hipster central, it's down-to-earth and working class. Plus it has a BC liquor store.

Somewhat sparse mall, but they have a few good gems like a really large shoppers drug mart, a florist with a huge selection, and a VR place that is amazing.
