Salem Contracting

We had Dave build a wrap-around deck for us and he was incredible. Transparent about the whole process and the results were amazing. Very happy with his work and would recommend without hesitation.

We hired Salem Contracting this summer to do various projects at our B&B, which included building a riverside deck and adjoining stairs and dock. Their team were here on time every day until the projects were completed. They worked diligently and conscientiously. The materials they ordered always arrived on time. There were no delays or any lost time. The job site was always left clean and organized at the end of every day. Owner, Dave Nuttall, is very experienced in all areas of construction and—most important—has an excellent eye for proportion, balance and smart design. Our visions for each construction challenge were always met and the results were nothing by totally wonderful. This was the second time they have worked for us, and we will be having them back for next year’s projects.

Dave and Phillip built our house from the ground up! They worked in the house when it was freezing cold outside, through last years’ wet spring, right into the hot days of last summer. They always came prepared to work hard, on schedule, and put in a full days work. They are meticulous in every aspect of their work and built us a most beautiful home.I would highly recommend them, however, I would warn you to book well in advance since these guys have a waiting list of grateful clients.

Purchased a house that needed quite a bit of renovating. Salem Contracting was prompt and professional, working with us on the vision we had for our new home as well offering a fresh outlook on a few design ideas. We will definitely be using them again! Would highly recommend!
