Seems like good company at first but after I sent them all my info through email correspondence and they didn’t follow up I had to call them and explain everything to Maroof again and it didn’t seem they had time or understood our situation which is not complicated. We have basic tax filing. Sounded a bit arrogant on the phone like they had no time for us. Will be taking our $1000USD elsewhere for tax filing. Beware of these 5 star companies on Google - they can pay for reviews. They didn’t call or email me back after asking how much money to give them to get started - I had to call them. Funny I thought accountants like money. Piece of advice, represent your company the way it’s represents on your website.Edit: Maroof called me on my personal cell phone to let me know he saw the Google review and that it was awful. He tried to keep me on the phone and argue over what happened - I’ve never had a business call me to discuss a Google review. Literally a call back within 2 minutes of posting. They hadn’t responded about me paying my retainer for about a week. In general, just the way he was speaking on the phone and the length of their reply to the review says everything you need to know. I wish he took the time he did to discuss my Google review to explain the tax form I had a question about, rather than say abruptly if I don’t want to file it’s up to me and I’ll pay the $10,000 fine. That’s when I ended the call and decided not to work with them.You say you don’t take money first and want to avoid errors but when I asked a couple questions about residency status for my wife and I via email, your colleague said in an email reply that “This is not a determination of residency!That’s something Maroof can do. I’ll be happy to schedule once the retainer is paid.” - so they would not determine my residency unless I paid retainer? So they did want money paid up front.

Professionalism at its finest, willing to answer all your questions. Maroof was extremely patient and his customer service was excellent. You feel a sense of security knowing that he will deliver to the best of his abilities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an accountant.
