Unfortunately you won’t find any NS hospitality here. The girl at the desk was rude, unfriendly, and not one bit helpful. We were in town for the marathon and when we asked about the complimentary breakfast, we were told it was a ‘grab and go’ that included a juice, an apple, and a granola bar. This grab and go had to be picked up between 7 and 8 am only and they would not allow us to pick it up earlier. The person at the desk was cold and I could not even have a conversation with her. We were really disappointed by how we were treated and spoken to and will never return. The rooms are not worth the money. Very disappointed overall.

First of all it was not luxurious like the Google ad says. It was not clean. Several of the screens had large holes and one of the screens was missing completely. For a place with a lot of mosquitoes this is not good. The couch looked like it was from a dump. It was dirty, old and uncomfortable. There was no continental breakfast!! It was an apple, juice, trail bar and yoghurt in a paper bag. The bathroom had no place to hang towels and the bathroom door opened right next to the stove. Plus the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work properly. For the price we paid, it was not worth it. We had a better breakfast and a cleaner room in a Days Inn the next night for less money. It was a terrible stay. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone ever.

Cottage was nice. Pool was closed due to covid but this was not posted on any sites or their social media when booking so be aware. Breakfast that says was supposed to be included is no longer. You do have to pay extra for more than 2 guests but am not certain why as they did not provide towels for more than 2 people and were reluctant to give more when asked. As well only 2 forks and 2 knives were included in the kitchen cutlery. If you need more than 1 single pillow bring with you as they do not provide extra.Area was nice, and was very close to local siteseeing.Shower, kitchenette and beds in cottage were good overall. AC/Heat pump was great but does not reach bedrooms.

Stayed here a few years ago. It was clean and friendly. Neither was true this time. Dirty floors, spiders, stains on curtains. When I asked staff to take out garbage, clean floor and vacuum the spiders, she told me that was a special request. Although I sent an email requesting this to take place, staff member tried to tell me that I had made a mistake with email address and they did not get my “special request”. Email was delivered to the correct address.

We stayed two nights here and had a wonderful time.It was nearly 10pm when we got in, but we were greeted in the office with a smile. The rooms were small, but they were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and I wanted to take the pillows with me.We were given a small discount when we checked out because the pool and breakfast were not available due to the pandemic. This was really lovely because we didn't expect either of those things to be available when we booked given the circumstances.Over all, it was a lovely spot and we will certainly stay here again next time we're in the area.

The internet is the worst I've ever experiencedThe room wasn't to my personal standards of cleanlinessTV package left something to be desiredAnd my #1 problem was easily the window placement, walking around naked in your room is almost not an option as the window in my bathroom which looked into the main room was perfectly lined up with a window in the house next door.Oh, and the curtains are paper thin, so if you're like me you'll be woken up by the sun at 6 regardless.

Stockley cottage wasn't clean, dishes were chipped, we had one pot, extra lids but no pots to go with them, took us a day to get a kettle. The shower curtain had black mold on the bottom and had to be changed. The bathroom even after the shower curtain was changed still smelled of mold that was growing somewhere in the bathroom, under the sink I would imagine. The couch needs to replaced and the rocking chair was a hazard. Very unhappy with our accommodations.

It was a really nice place. However the TV was awful, it's 2022 and they still use cable?I had no way to stream anything no Netflix, and they didn't even have all the channels unlocked. Getting smart TV would save them money then they wouldn't be paying for cable

Junior Suite with TerraceThis room is on the ground floor and overlooks the pool area.Pool pump is just outside the window and is very noisy! The air in this room was stale or it's the cleaner they use, had to run the air on the heat pump all night and it helped a bit..Could not connect to the wifi and the office was no help with that. No breakfast at all but I'm sure we paid for one. Time to update your website or start severing breakfast they have no excuses now!
