I was just checking the website for new ideas but I must leave a review of a previous purchase. We bought two oil candles. Hand blown crystal, complete with brass wick holder adjusted for perfect flame size. These lamps are beautiful! They are much better than smoky wax candles. They use paraffin based lamp oil which is odourless and smokeless. They are easy to use and refill and are such a lovely addition to our home. We received outstanding service from the proprietor/owners as well. Thank you.

Helen and her husband were wonderful to us when we came by their store in Ucluelet after visiting their son's store in Tofino. We enjoyed looking around and selecting form many items including a lot from Poland as they bring in unique items for the international tourists as well as offering many local items, especially First Nations jewelry. We purchased a silver Feather" necklace and some lovely blown glass works and Helen was very detailed in her description of the First Nations Feather and it's symbolism. She knew a lot about the First Nations products and of course their own creations. They were generous and kind and we both walked out with lovely items that will always remind us of our special time in Tofino and Ucluelet."

Petty artworks sold by a very nice and patient old Polish lady. You can find unique jewelries designed by local artists with reasonable prices.When my boyfriend and I get married, we will definitely come back to this beautiful town and pay a visit to you, grandma ☺️

We're visiting from England and I went to the Tofino location. They were soooo unbelievably nice and friendly. I got a silver tree ring as a second wedding ring to symbolize our honeymoon on the island. It's beautiful and the rest of the jewelry is gorgeous too. Definitely would recommend.

Helen is a gem. This unique shop features local artist's designs including those in silver and glass created by Helen's son who operates a twin shop in Tofino. I purchased a whale's tail silver pendant for my wife something unique to the area.

When Rubio's first opened in Ucluelet many years ago, my daughter and I purchased many items and had a good experience. On visiting a couple of years later, we decided that this would be our last visit, due to no acknowledgement from staff. We just happened on the store again this past week, and were more than pleasantly surprised. It was an absolute delight to be greeted by a beautiful smile and twinkling eyes. An older Polish woman with a huge zest for life greeted us. She had an interest in selling, knew her stones, and was not afraid of conversation. What a great treasure she is to the owner of this store! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in her presence and will definitely be back to visit her again.

Helena along with her husband and son are a must visit when I go to the Tofino-Ucluelet Peninsula. Although I frequent the Tofino store rather than the Uke store, I absolutely HAVE to get a new ring when I visit. I now am the proud owner of ten rings and a toe ring. One of which is my wedding ring.If you are looking for a lasting memory of the area, I suggest the Wave pendant that Helena's son just designed. It's beautifully crafted and will forever remind you of the waves of Tofino.Keep up the great work!!!

This business is located both in Tofino and in Ucluelet and could be a lot better than it is. They present themselves as a local" art designer

The owners of this shop are well versed in the materials used (and what it means to the local native people), and the husband & son contribute to the gorgeous selection with their own jewelry craftsmanship. The pieces are well priced and unique. The owners are authentic & friendly.There’s a review below criticising the shop on not having 100% owner-handmade pieces, and a different name on the credit card bill - get a life (and education). Most jewelry shops are curated and seldom only comprised of one designer and a different registered company name than the shop name (and who gives a fig anyway)? The review is sour and downright nasty and based off of narrow minded and perhaps envious blether. We’re very pleased with our purchases, high quality, unique and sooo well priced!

Such lovely & wonderful people. I visit each September, when camping at Pacific Rim, and I always purchase something. The owners are wonderful & I love talking about our mutual love of dogs. Incredibly knowledgeable and they have something for every price point.
