Breakwater Bistro & Bar
The first place I ate when I visited Victoria for the first time two years ago. Excellent scenery, fantastic ocean view patio, delightful menu options and drinks. Now that I live here it’s become one of my favourite spots!

Charming bistro and bar with a tasting room right on the shores of Victoria. I had the Dinosour and the poutine. Jill was my bartender, she was great! Pleasant to talk to and gave amazing recommendations. Wish I had more time to spend in Victoria this trip!

Breakwater Bistro & Bar
Had a crispy chicken burger and and ice coffee on the patio. Super delicious. Perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly and reasonably fast. If I could change one thing it would be to add an umbrella over our table but I could have chosen to avoid the sunburn and sat inside. Not the restaurant’s fault. Will come again.

A great beer stop... Would prefer to be served at my table vs self serve though, but bar tender was easy to talk too... nice to have live music...

Great location, with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. That is definitely the best part of this restaurant. While the staff were friendly, I think they may have been short handed so service wasn’t the best. We saw a local fella come in by himself and he wasn’t treated in the best manner. The fries were good, but the wine/beer selection is limited and the fried chicken was overcooked and pretty dry. Would recommend only for having drinks and to catch the view.

The blasting music ruins everything it stands for . (Peaceful view and people coming to share a great meal)I have been coming here since day opened but will choose another breakfast spot. Someone else asked to have music turned down. It was done and then turned up again 5 minutes later. Everybody was trying to talk over music so sounded like a rowdy bar with rap music

This a great place to have dinner, coffee or desserts after a walk on Victoria s Dallas rd waterfront. Good menu selections at reasonable prices. Great nachos. Tonight we had a glass of Grafigna Malbec with chocolate tart.Mmmm. Personnel is very friendly. The view of the pier and the cruise boat terminal is very nice.

Lovely place, feels like a dream. Drinking lavender cocktail in front of the blue ocean and snow mountain far away, it’s so unreal.

Excellent food!! Friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere and vibe and of course a fabulous view. I wish they had more menu items and seating; it's a little pricey but that doesn't stop me from going back. Fish and chips are good and seafood chowder is also delicious. The cocktails are really good too. Highly recommend!
