Nice takeout Korean fried chicken. I prefer the bone in option. My favorite is the yangyeom one because it is sweet and spicy. The Padak Padak one is good too as it has a generous portion of green onion on top and comes with a sauce that tastes like sweet soy mustard. The original tastes like a good chicken finger. The chicken quality is good.

They’re friendly and quick on orders.Food is made after ordering so they’re super fresh.Plus the chicken’s such good value! You rarely see Korean FCs this great of a value.I just wish they’d bring back the online ordering system back (not doordash/skip but their own website).

Excellent place for chicken. The menu is limited but this just shows they focus on a few things and do them very well. Recommended for takeout. Excellent prep not greasy and cooked just right. I will go here again.I dropped it from 5 star down to 4 star. They need to be more efficient here, the orders are late. The food is still excellent but I do question the covid protocol here, it seems lax.

Chicko Chicken is a franchise that specializes in Korean fried chicken. Recently, I noticed a small sliver of a storefront open up on Edmonds Street in Burnaby. The thing that caught my eye was that there wasn’t a door to get into the place! As it turns out, the shop’s entrance is actually located in the back parking lot… talk about a hole-in-the-wall!Your best bet is to put your order in via their app as it takes a while for your chicken to be prepped. I opted for their Half and Half ($24) with a mix of their original and soy garlic chicken (my order also came with pickled radish and a can of pop). In all honesty, both versions were similar in flavour. The good thing is that they know how to make chicken. The outside had a nice crisp to it while the meat on the inside was tender and juicy.The following week, I decided to try their Padak Padak ($14 for half order) which is their sweet soy-mustard sauce chicken topped off with green onions curls and added a side of their Shake Shake Fries ($3) with cheese seasoning. I’m sure some people like the cheese seasoning on their fries but it didn’t do too much for me.On the good side, the chicken is just as tender and juicy on the inside as on my last visit. However, there’s not much variety here in terms of flavour. Overall, if you like crispy Korean fried chicken that’s tender on the inside, you’ll probably like this place. But you might get bored with the limited variety.

Really delicious korean fried chicken, probably the best asian style chicken in the area. Portions are decently generous and worth the price range. The chicken batter didn't feel greasy at all and stayed crunchy even after a few hours, no soggy nuggets at all even with the sauce coating.

The chicken is good, made on the spot. Taste is a bit on the salty side. Don't expect to eat there as there are only 2 chairs and 1 table. it's a bit cold in winter. The sliding door could use some lubricant. The shop is behind the main street.

Wow. What can you say about perfection? Skin is incredibly crunchy, chicken is moist and it's not greasy at all. The yangyeom flavor is on a whole other level. The only negative is the pay parking in the back, but you could easily order ahead and grab it. If I could add another star I would.
