It was a dam busy and loud place. The room next to me was having a party. My room konda smelled like feet. Food was ok, bar had cold and wet drinks.

We used to booked this place for our kids swimming party but now never again. It was good before but not with new owner. They are racist. Last week my friend had a kids party and just told us to go in the room by 10pm and even though the guestsare still eating. They forced us to stay inside the room like a kid and locked us in. Plus they (2 staffs ) were waiting standing eith frown faces and staring at us. This is twice now had a bad experienced with this hotel.. Ridiculous attitude at all!

Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre
The staff here was extremely accommodating and friendly. Housekeeping came daily to swap towels and remake the bed. However there seems to be no noise barrier within the hotel. I could barely sleep during my 4 night stay as the other guests were very loud and you can hear everything as clear as a bell through the walls. The opening and closing of doors kept waking me up as well as the adjoining interior door that kept rattling loudly every time it was leaned on from the other side which was quite frequently for some reason. There was also a loud fight in the room above me with furniture being thrown around at 2am. Also, the water did not get hot enough and the pressure is not good.

The hotel staff were friendly. Did not get the room I reserved as was unavailable due to issues on their end. Could not move me to different similar room so ended up in different area of hotel. Restaurant is not kid friendly and they did not seem pleased we were there and chose not to eat in our rooms. Getting my hands on a luggage cart was difficult both when we arrived and when we left.

Very limited menu 1 vegetarian item, salad. Fairly pricey since our last visit. Service was great. Food was okay. Don't like cloth napkins.

Terrible hotel (now). I've stay here several times of the years and this hotel have continued to go down hill. The rooms aren't very clean, lot's of people lingering in the lobby and hallways. The heat in the room is only on high (and crazy hot) or not at all. We opened the window to cool the room down but people lingering outside smoking outside the windows. The conference room was excellent and service was good for the event we attended. Also Chicago Joes food and service was very good but the hotel, rooms and clientele lingering around are not. I will never stay here again! This place isn't worth anywhere near the $270/night they charged.

The management needs to train some of their staff to undergo professional development training . Very rude and racist .I wouldn’t recommend Victoria inn for those who are planning to have their family event , children’s party or even staying for vacation in Thunder Bay . You never feel safe to stay there anymore. It’s a learning experienced that will be shared for my friends , family , relatives and even acquaintances.

I had an excellent stay this time around. Was there for 3 nights for a union event. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had accidentally booked at a different hotel but they gave me a suite for the same discounted rate.The first night I hound the room extremely warm so next day I asked if they had a fan. Sure enough they brought me a fan and I slept comfortably the rest of my nights there.The room was upper floor pool side which was loud with noise from the pool area which is kind of unavoidable. The sliding doors in the bathroom is rather loud. I soaked in the large soaker tub every night while watching a movie. So relaxing! I found the room to be very clean. Staff in hallways were pleasant and always said good morning when passing in hall.I’d stay again!

Don't care for your front staff, not helpful and made me cry today. Over a petty meal voucher that myself and my son are entitled too.Extremely hurtful so be pushed aside and see everyone else being helped except me and my 10 year old son standing at the front desk.
