Mark was very thorough in the inspection of our home, making sure to cover every inch he could access. He was very communicative throughout the inspection in terms of explaining the different severity of “problems” and pointing out helpful tips for homeowners as he knew we were first time homebuyers. The binder we received at the end full of seasonal reminders, cost estimates for various fixes/upgrades around the house will also be of significant assistance.

Mark Michaels was very responsive in getting our home inspection scheduled in a timely manner, very flexible about the fact that my husband and I were unable to be at the inspection in person, and very thorough when going over the inspection report with us after the fact. He made us feel like there were no stupid questions and clarified everything for us, making us feel secure and confident to move forward with the process of buying a home that was almost 100 years old! Mark did an excellent job. My husband and I are first time home buyers, so he took the time to explain everything and walk through every stage of what he was doing. He was kind, professional, fun to be around, and even saved a toad while he was there! (It was stuck in our casement window well). What a wonderful person to have our first experience with! Mark was very knowledgable, thorough, and friendly. I appreciated he took the time to explain some of the systems and structural items and answer my questions/concerns as we were looking at a nearly 70 year old home. This helped my family's discussion tremendously as we reviewed his detailed inspection report and made our decision.
