We had a custom tailored suit made for my wedding. They were fantastic through the whole process from start to finish. They walked us through the choices, styles, etc - helped us pick fabric and colours, etc.The suit was finished in about 8 weeks, with us coming in before-hand for test fitting, etc.The price was a bit expensive, but actually less than a mainstream Menswear shop tends to charge for a custom tailored" suit made in some factory.The quality of the suit was exceptional - it definitely feels like it will last for many years to come."

So impressed with this store! Scott was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable with a great sense of humour to top it off! What a great experience!!! This store is the full deal. Scott fitted my fiancé into a handsome quality suit, shirt, belt, dress socks, casual shirt and pants for our upcoming wedding weekend. Great selection of excellent quality clothes at very fair prices. What more can you ask for? Rob fitted him for the alterations. You can feel confident that he knows what he’s doing ! Don’t hesitate to visit Browns Menswear when you’re wanting or needing either a high quality suit or fashionable casual clothes!!

Wow. Awesome service here. Bought a shirt from Scott yesterday who was knowledgeable, friendly, and took me through the whole process of sizing etc. felt comfortable the whole time. whole staff ( including Molly) are great. Quality of the clothes are awesome, prices are fair too. Highly recommended, little hidden gem of a shop!

W. C. Brown and Sons is a family owned store that has been in business for one hundred years. It sells both custom and off the rake menswear. Most of their high quality merchandise is Canadian made. One can always buy with confidence from this store. Staff members are knowledgeable and helpful without ever being high pressure. They want you to leave happy. This store is a fixture of downtown Elmira and the owners are deeply committed to the community.

Having a custom suit made here for a wedding. Customer service here is top shelf. Its a small family run operation that has been making custom suits for close to 100 years. Made a appointment to be fitted and was given advice to what fit would look best for my large husky frame. No pressure to add on a vest or go with expensive options...the whole process was comfortable. I can't wait to pick up the finished product.

I just bought a suit here and I was given the personal service that one rarely finds anymore. A multi-generational hands-on business is a wonderful reminder of a time when businesses really cared about their customers. If you are looking for a suite that makes you feel like a million bucks, Rob is your man, it was very clear that this man knows clothing and how it should fit. He made good suggestions and worked with my ideas to create a perfectly fitted full custom tailored suite. he also made the pants for my groomsmen, that I must say were not always easy to work with because of how far away they were. yet he still pulled it off without the need for alterations. there is a picture of all of uslooking fly on my momentious day.
