Victoria Motel

The dirtiest most unkept Motel I've ever been to. The bed was even broken. There was TV and internet but they didn't work. Only 2 large towles and no hand towels to dry your hands. I checked in at 3am and paid $125 to be told after paying that I had to check out at 11am complete RIP off

Many of the rooms of this motel are being occupied by long term guests. I've had the unique of knowing many of these guests which has allowed me over time to see inside a majority of the rooms at one point or another. Almost every room will have some type of issue which has been neglected. Most common is vandalism or graffiti on the walls where people have written phone numbers, people's names, messages etc. Every room has a combination heater / air conditioning unit. A great deal of these are in some state of disrepair. The plastic molding might be broken off or badly damaged, the knobs might be missing or broken off, or some of the settings might not work. Dispite these issues, I dont recall being in a room where the heater or a.c. wasn't working at all.. so I suppose that's a good thing. The phone system is kind of funky and the sound quality is bad.. making many guests suspect they are being monitored by law enforcement at times. I doubt this is true and I suspect the phones are simply outdated and in disrepair. There is a vending machine which serves beverages, but unfortunately it is only ever stocked with 3 types of drinks. Pepsi, coke, and ginger ale. Why? I have no idea. There is wifi available, but the speed is terrible and there are areas where you can't get a connection. The televisions are different from room to room. Some are relics from the past and some are more recent, but they all are pretty terrible. Some of the cable boxes don't work, or for some reason there are only a few channels which work. I'm not sure what the deal is with this, but most people I've visited here rarely have the tv on anyways. The rooms have mini fridges , and they are far too small for someone staying there long term. There also isn't any laundry facilities, and none of the rooms have coffee pots, microwaves, toasters, or any means of cooking unless the guest put it in there themselves. That's about all I can think of for now. I'll end by saying that the amenities may be lacking, but I do enjoy the company of most who I've come to see as friends that currently find themselves living there.

Stayed here last year and it was about a 3 star. Cheap and divey, you don't check in here expecting much. At least in the room I had last year the fan/AC worked... Spent a hot and sticky night with the window open, which meant listening to the other esteemed guests until 4am. I would have recommended this place as a cheap motel prior to this visit, but I feel like the owners have let things go a little too much. Look elsewhere unless you are desperate.

Havin no where else to go, so living at this motel just till my apartment is ready. June is the movin in date. CANT WAIT 2 GET OUT OF HERE!THE ONLY GOOD THING IS THEY R UNDERSTANDING IF U NEED MORE TIME 2 STAY ANOTHER DAY, THEY WILL WORK WITH U

Not a bad little place. The new owner is trying his best to get the place out of the hole it fell into. It's still a bit rough around the edges but I'm sure in short time it will get better. I had no problems it was clean new fridge and they had no problems helping me with whatever I needed. Thank you Sid and I wish you and your team the best.

i wonder if it still rains in the rooms i used to rent, 2-3 years ago. the water seemed to be leaking from upstairs, which would be falling on our heads like the roof was gone. not the best place there is, but the indian/paki? owner deserves a couple of stars just by himself. he was always very nice and helpful, i got to find out after 3 or 4 years in ontario, there are very few people like him around here. cheers

For the price it was great. I was in room 12 it's one of the most recently updated. The bathroom is newly renovated its all ceramic tile with new toilet and sink. The beds are better (this room had two) than other places that charge more than here. It was easy to check in and check out to get your deposit back was easy. The guy was prompt and friendly cannot ask for anything more. They also allow deposit on a visa debit card. Others won't which is a complete pain. I know it's beside the other motel with a real bad rap however room 12 is on the left side if the building away from the motel to the right.

Conditions of rooms and furnishings is not very good. The price per night is very high for the low quality experience offered at this motel.

The ONLY good things is they understand money dosen't grow on trees. Just tell them the situation &they will work with u n not just kick u out with NO WHERE TO GO

Everyone working is so nice especially with some of the people they have to deal with. They were amazing with my service dog as well had to day there for about a month they don't do long term all at once got to pay for a few more days at a time and there is a 100 deposit but can pay with cash right there n then no credit card witch made it so much easier as well only reason not getting 5 starts is cuz it is a little run down but worth it if you need a motel on short notice
