Finding Melissa was the best thing that ever happened to us - while planning our wedding! My husband and I had fun ideas and a rough outline but really needed someone local to help us execute our vision, and to keep us on track for hiring vendors and getting things done. Melissa was so much more than that. She was so incredibly organized, yet down to earth, and she always coached us through decisions, while helping us build our creative intent and the special moments that we wanted to create for ourselves and our guests. Melissa was extremely adaptable, accessible and very fun! She is extremely professional but easygoing and really made our day the best we could have ever imagined. On the day of, Melissa was the conductor and she kept us feeling relaxed, laughing and focused on spending time with our loved ones, as she worked so hard behind the scenes. She even helped my husband to plan a massive fireworks show - and kept it a surprise from me the whole time!We couldn’t have asked for a better experience working with a wedding planner and we’ll miss working with her!!

Melissa did SUCH an incredible job helping me plan my wedding. Her organized, can-do approach to wedding planning was exactly what I needed for my outdoor (challenging layout) wedding of 200 people. Days leading up to the wedding Melissa and her crew were so great to work with and I felt supported the entire time knowing they had my back. 10/10 recommend Melissa for all your events!!

All communications were prompt and professional up until after our initial consultation call. Melissa left a good impression and I requested a copy of her contract the same day as our consultation. She did not send me a copy of her contract to review, and 2 days later she followed up letting me know that someone else signed their contract that morning for my date. I was surprised that Melissa did not warn me that there was additional interest for my date at any time, and was also surprised that she did not bother to send me her contract upon request. She explained that the reason she didn't send me a contract was that she gave a prospective client who reached out to her before I did the first right of refusal, which I can understand. However, I do not understand failing to communicate that information to me - the professional thing to do would have been to tell me that I was second in line for my desired date. Please be aware of this if you are thinking of hiring her and ask about additional interest for your date ahead of time.*Edit after owner response:Melissa’s response suggests my review is low because she gave the date to her other prospective clients - this is not the case. My review is low because of Melissa’s unprofessional communication error, which she continues to fail to take accountability for in her response. My review was fair and accurate, and I am revising down to 1 star after her disappointing reply.

We had a great experience working with Melissa at our recent wedding at The Millcroft Inn. She was attentive, helpful and I'm sure the bride really appreciated her help. Great working with you Melissa as always.

Melissa helped plan our wedding and she was amazing. She helped work through a small crisis early on, and then towards the end helped me make sure we had everything organized for the weekend through Zoom calls. She was our on-site coordinator for the wedding weekend and I felt SO calm knowing she was in charge of timelines and getting everything set up. The day was more perfect than I could have imagined and I would 100% recommend her to any other couples looking for an organized, diligent, and reliable planner :) THANK YOU MELISSA!

We feel so lucky that we found Melissa for our wedding! She was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so steady through our planning process, listened to our concerns and had so many great ideas and tips throughout our planning process. She was also a rock through our wedding weekend. She had every detail nailed down, kept us on track with timing and managed to address every curveball so professionally. She has such a calm, steady, organized approach and skillfully balances it with bringing positivity and excitement. Melissa was also amazing with helping us with signage. She either did the signage in house or used a vendor that she managed to bring our vision to life- everything turned out perfect. We would recommend Melissa to anyone who truly wants a very personalized and professional approach to wedding planning- we could not have done our weekend without her- a pleasure to work with! Melissa was our month-of coordinator for our recent wedding, and all I can say is we absolutely could not have made a better decision than booking her. She took care of SO many things that I hadn’t even considered, both leading up to and during the day. She and her team went above and beyond what we expected, and were so adaptable and calm that they made our day completely stress free. Melissa coordinated our wedding in Collingwood. She assisted us throughout the planning process and made sure that every detail was just right. Her follow-through and attention to detail ensured that all of our plans came together perfectly. Melissa and her staff allowed us to simply enjoy our wedding day and stay in the moment. We did not have to worry about any planning, logistics, coordination of vendors, etc - Melissa had it all handled. Melissa was our day-of-coordinator, and she also helped us with some other planning details ahead of the big day. Our wedding was at our own farm property, and we couldn't have done it without Melissa! She was extremely organized and professional from day 1, and was very open and transparent about budget. I also appreciated her package options, which are more flexible than other planners.Melissa gave us checklists and timely reminders for things, and reached out to the vendors 1-2 weeks ahead to finalize booking details and to introduce herself. On the day of, Melissa was calm and efficient. She helped me with some last minute tasks, gathered people for photos, answered guest questions, and the list goes on. I think she did a fantastic job and would highly recommend her.

Melissa was hands down the best wedding coordinator we could have asked for. She took care of what would have been the most stressful parts of planning our wedding. She was super professional and organized and handled any of our venue concerns. The reason our wedding day ran so smoothly was because of her. Thank you Melissa!!
