Seaside Communications you advertise your services but here we are in Mapleton/Southampton NS we have your service BUT we have been without watchable, useable internet services since Dec 26th 2021 and still on going and continue to call in DAILY and receive the same daily conflicting reports on issues with towers between tech dept and costumer services dept, we continue to get we are sorry we understand yet you continue to bill us for a service we can not use...How about fixing our services and crediting your customers . this is ridiculous...please share if you use their services or experiencing same issues!!!

Absolutely useless. Hideous download speeds. Can't watch youtube without constant buffering issues. Paying for netflix and amazon prime, can't watch either one. Looks like Starlink will be getting my business shortly. Would give less than a star if it was possible.

Seaside High-Speed Internet
Very often I and those in my family have had issues connecting to their “high speed” internet and even when we do it runs slower than other providers standard package. Their customer service is abysmal and they don’t even have a “contact us” tab on their website so you have to either call or go into their local office to ask any questions or get actual answers. Do I not recommend getting seaside to anyone unless they’re in the lowest of low income households. Just pay the standard package for any other company nearby as they will be only slightly more for a much better service.

Staff are great but the service should not be allowed to classified as high speed, dial up was faster. I complained for a year that it was unusable and got a 1/2 month reduction of my bill. Laughable.

We pay for high-speed wifi, which you would expect to work 7 days a week. In reality, we have functioning wifi 4 days a week, 5 if we're lucky. When we call they say they'll call back to let us know before they send someone out, but they never call back and nobody ever shows up. The last time that we called, they basically fired us as customers saying there was nothing else they could do, and they refused to come out to look at our equipment to see if that was the problem. If you have the choice, please save your money and choose literally any other internet company.

Wrote a complaint to the BBBForcing an elderly man to pay someone else’s bill and was told if he doesn’t pay the other persons bill to go somewheres else for internet.horrible company and you can clearly see how much scamming the company is doing, all the people who are having problems ,being scammed, ripped , given low quality internet for high prices , if we get enough Better Business Bureal complaints , they will have to change their ways and obey the Law.Someone else had internet at my location in their name , they moved out and took the bill with them, seaside is forcing me and other people to pay their bill , not allowed internet till we pay someone else’s bill, it’s not the law or will the show me the proof that they can force people to pay other peoples bill , seaside scamming people for extra money mean while putting out less MBPS and quality that you pay for , they can rip you and force bills on you , but can’t keep their end of the bargain and allowed to punish whoever they want and drop other peoples bills on other people and denying service.We need new providers, soon fibre optics will be around the country and we can finally drop seaside and hopefully close them for good :)Push for starlink and other internet companies ,way better then crapside wireless internetNo more scamming people seaside

If I could give Seaside internet zero stars I would. Internet drops constantly, and if you call about it you get zero satisfaction. They act like they can’t see what’s happening, and don’t even attempt to care or listen to what you have to say. Impossible to work from home, no customer service at all. Always required to pay full bills, despite terrible internet. If you call every day about it they still don’t do anything to resolve the issue, and if you take a month break, and then call, they state that you haven’t called in months. Never came across a company with customer service this terrible. I would get rid of this service if I could, but unfortunately it’s our only option.

Anyone considering Seaside, please beware...I was a customer for 5 years and the service was terrible, very slow, but it was only provider in area, so we had to keep them. The hardware totally ripped out of our roof once and they came back and put it up in about 20 minutes, they didnt check to see how connection was at all. I had to call and waste time trying to get connection better with person on phone. Then the wind blew it off again a few months later. These so called service men came back out and were going to drill it back into the same hole that it ripped out of??? And then again they never checked connection. The connection was terrible, even slower, so I called and asked to speak to manager. We told her that they never put it in correctly and she started yelling at my husband thinking we were asking for roof to be reshingled??? No,we just wanted them to have fixed the problem of the hardware ripping out twice! After the rudeness of the so called manager we decided to cancel our internet with them. There are many more options out there now. They never called like they said they would to make time to come and get their equipment, instead they showed up one day we were out and collected everything except pole and wires in house! They left the pole up on our roof! Long story short, they gladly accept your money, but if anything ever happens, beware because the manager has terrible customer skills. Terrible customer service + slow connections= bye bye for us.

Excellent customer service, great high speed Internet in our area. The phone we have via the internet is excellent, and we are saving over a $1000 a year. Great long-distance. Highly recommend Seaside Communication to everyone able to get the service in their area.

Absolute trash customer service and terrible internet. Using them because it’s the only option we have. If the power goes out within 40 minutes of our location we lose service. Call to complain and they are the definition of “pass the buck”. If you don’t call every day they make it seem like it’s a non-issue. Speeds make it next to impossible to work from home. Zero satisfaction.
