Great doctors at Cancer care treated my mother with compassion during her illness. The charity gift area has the friendliest staff and the quality of the handmade items is fantastic highly recommend the hand knit items as gifts. They have lovely baby quilts for gifts as well as hand made slippers and just too many other craft items to mention.

My wife's surgery and treatment she says, was truly amazing. The care shown to her by every single person involved in her stay was fantastic. She was treated with dignity and professionalism. Truly no better care anywhere. Thank you so very much! Julie

My husband and I just had our first visit today. We were treated with such compassion, care and support, it’s almost indescribable. The staff, volunteers, resources and range of services they offer means that no matter how cancer is impacting your life, CancerCare will always be there to help. The atmosphere of the building is warm and inviting, it immediately felt like a safe place during a frightening time.

My Auntie went through all the steps of cancer care, but on there part was a big failure, a hairline crack was found in her spine. She was never informed of this and proceeded to go to the chiropractor for Back pain, he ended up cracking this hairline spinal crack. Which has forced her to take major pain medication. Her spine will not heal due to the severity of her cancer, an absolute horrendous and sickening level of miscommunication in a serious life threatening stage of someone's life.I'm appalled and discussed.

When I was going through treatment here I had the best service and all the support I needed. I owe this institution my life, thank you CancerCare! I do not have enough good words to describe!

Obviously if you need to be going to CancerCare, either you or someone that you love is likely going for treatment so the need to visit this establishment sucks, but that being said...I love the people who work there. Everyone is so compassionate. I have never felt that the professionals are trying to rush you and they always answer your questions to the best of their ability. They make the journey through cancer a little easier.

This organization has no respect for people's rights. I suffered repeated and serious privacy violations, was repeatedly touched by a member of staff without my consent (in fact I repeatedly told this person to leave me alone) and had my personal belongings repeatedly stolen. I filed numerous complaints, all valid, and the president of this organization, Sri Navaratnum, personally came to see me. She proceeded to touch private areas of my body before I could stop her. There was no medical reason for this touching. The woman is a criminal. Citizens of Manitoba should be aware of this when seeking treatement.

They saved my life. The building is nice, the staff are friendly. As someone who goes here regularly for blood test and doctor appointments, this place is the best I could expect.

The nurses are great and the care was good. WHAT I do not agree with is sitting there waiting for my husband while he had radiation (my husband has terminal cancer) and listening to someone ring the bell and everyone cheering and clapping while myself and another woman started to cry! I get it for those people but do you ever stop to think what this does to the people that will never get a chance to have a life!
