Four Points by Sheraton Calgary Airport

The room was very spacious & had a bathroom with built-in pumps in the shower for shampoo, conditoner & body wash. However this hotel is near Calgary Airport (YYC) like other hotels near it, so you will hear airplane noises from time to time, which may disrupt your sleep.

Stayed here for 2 nights, had to cancel 3rd night. Only 1 functional elevator so had to wait forever to go up or down. Sheets had giant ketchup/blood stain which was apparent when we first walked in. Shower head was at 5'5. I am 6ft and felt like a giant showering in a dwarf's home. Fire alarm went off on the 2nd morning which isn't the hotel's fault but there was 0 communication about when it was safe to go back or what had happened. Only redeeming quality is the girl at the front desk who checked us in, she was nice and recommended a good restaurant. Hotel has shuttle to and from airport that arrived quickly (but this is common of most hotels in this area).When I checked out and cancelled, there was no interest in why my stay had been so unsatisfactory. This would be a good 2-star hotel but doesn't cut it as a 3 star.

I wasn’t able to stay and had to cancel my trip. The assistant Manager JD was very accommodating and worked hard to get my refund. Next time I decide to stay, I’m staying here. Customer service is exceptional for my experience. Thank you JD

Had a 1 night layover from a flight and wanted to see a few sites in town the one night we had. We specifically picked this hotel for our Marriott rewards and because it had a free airport shuttle listed.Except it took their shuttle over an hour to pick us up from the airport (after being told 40 minutes, which still seemed excessive), even though I called ahead, as they asked. Then after picking us up late, the driver STILL made 2 more stops.The creepy driver not only had the A/C cranked for no reason (it wasn't even warm outside), so I was freezing, but he was like a sloth in that he took his sweet time between stops just sitting in the van doing nothing instead of leaving so we could get to the hotel. Like he started picking up trash from his front seats, changing the A/C settings, staring at an empty plastic cup before throwing it away...just really weird behavior.While waiting for him, I would ask other hotel shuttle drivers if they knew when he might be coming and multiple said they'd seen the van in the 'staging area' so it should be 5-10 minutes (ended up being 15-20). That means the driver was sitting in the parked van for 15 minutes, nearby, doing nothing while we waited.Because of this delay, we had to cancel our only plans because it was now too late. So we sat in our room and did nothing that night, thanks to this creepy shuttle driver.The following morning at 6:30am, I asked when we could take the shuttle back to the airport and was told they leave on the hour, every hour - but the 8am shuttle was already full (the only time we could take it). We had to go eat breakfast and could not make the 7am, and despite this info, they made zero effort to schedule another trip since the shuttle was full. So we had to pay out of pocket for an Uber.To recap: chose hotel due to proximity to airport and free shuttle, had to cancel only evening plans for our only night in Calgary because driver was slow and late, then had to pay for our own transport back to airport the next day. Not even a complimentary breakfast. Would not recommend or ever stay there again.

Nice hotel with decent rooms. Very comfortable beds and the staff is very attentive and helps wherever they can.Free shuttle service to and from the airport.Location is a bit out of everything. Not much around. You need a car to get to places. Or willing to walk for 15-20 mins to Sunridge Mall or the close by shops.The breakfast could be much better. Had it twice and did not really delivering value for money.One positive - the coffee in the lobby is very good.Enjoyed the stay and would return.

recently got checked in last minute and Taylor at the front desk was the most kind and caring person to help me. She instantly reassured me, found me a lovely room, and provided perfect service. will be returning due to her compassion and organization. thank you again taylor! 10/10

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. The sound insulation in the hotel was practically non-existent, as I could hear all the noise from neighboring guests, children running and screaming in the hallways, people dragging their luggage, and even the housekeepers yelling across the hall to each other. It was incredibly frustrating and made it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep.What's more, I was disappointed to find that despite paying what I thought was a fair rate for the room, there was no complimentary breakfast included. When I inquired about it at the front desk, I was informed that it wasn't included in the rate we paid (there was only one rate available at the time of booking online). Additionally, for a room that accommodated 4 people, we were given only one drink card and one bottle of water, which I found to be extremely stingy.Additionally, the bathroom was out of body wash on the first day of our stay. This was a basic amenity that should have been stocked and available to guests. I also noticed that the water from the sink in my bathroom had a strong smell of bleach. This was very unpleasant and made it difficult to use the sink for basic tasks like brushing my teeth or washing my face. It's concerning to me that the water quality in the hotel may not be up to par.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay. The lack of sound insulation, poor amenities, and unhelpful staff make for an unpleasant experience that I would not want to repeat.

My husband and I were not satisfied with our stay because the hotel’s customer service was bad. I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member and we stayed many nights with four points but we were not satisfied with this location at all. The room was smelly, the toilet was not working properly, and coffee was never ready when we went down in the morning. I brought it up to the manager there and I had asked a lady and a guy working at the front desk for help with our room but nothing was done. We even got a noise complaint and a threat to call the cops because my baby was crying, like are you kidding? He’s a BABY who woke up in the middle of the night!!! The doors between our room and the room next to us have a big gap underneath. Will not be going back there for sure.

The service and facilities of this hotel are so poor that there is a lot of noise in the room on the first night, and it is required to be replaced the next morning. Fortunately, it can be replaced smoothly. But after leaving, I found that the hotel unexpectedly charged an extra charge for a third person, and the strange thing was that it only charged an extra charge for one night. I called to ask why, and they said it was the rule. But the question is, when I made the reservation, I told three people that the price was also a fee for three people. Why is there an extra charge? The experience is so bad that I will never go to this store again!
