We have two German shepherds, when we first got them we searched for a trainer. We seen an ad at our vets and decided to call him and make an appointment. When we first met Paul he was very approachable and you could see he loved working with dogs. Not only is the training for your dog it’s also for you as the owner. We had our first session with him and he introduced us to the e collar. Which is the best thing we could of done. Since doing the training we and others can’t believe Obedient they are . Paul took it to the next step by helping us design a custom leash so we can walk dogs at the same time on one lead. We would highly recommend Paul for anyone looking for dog training. Thanks so much for making it more enjoyable for us and the dogs.

Paul is absolutely amazing! We were referred to Paul through a friend when we decided to add a second lab to our family. We wanted to be able to train them both off leash (recall) so we could hike, spend time at the lake, toss the ball, etc. Paul introduced the e-collar training system to us. Working with Paul on how to use this system properly has changed our lives. We have so much fun together as a family and enjoy doing so many activities. Our dogs are so healthy and happy because they can run, play, swim and just enjoy life. Others are amazed at how well they listen and don’t get distracted. We have stuck to all of Paul’s techniques and we find we rarely even need the collars anymore. Paul’s demeanour and approach is superb! He is a very special person that loves what he does and it shows. Thanks, Paul!

I contacted Paul to help me teach my very bouncy Labrador Retriever some manners. We're really close to getting our Level 1 Obedience Certification, and he's helped me bring my second Lab to the same level. He's knowledgeable, experienced, highly qualified, really understands canine behaviour, and he's really patient. Every Monday I get a blog with helpful tips for dog owners, and best of all, my dogs really like him. I highly recommend Paul as a trainer.

Forrest just turned 2 years old. A Mioritic Shepherd, that was born at a rescue and had already received basic training and group training lessons as well as having started e collar and prong collar training prior to meeting Paul.I wanted to train Forrest with Paul because we have concerns living on a horse property where there are strange dogs visiting, cats running around, rider and horses going by and Forrest is fearful of the horses and very protective of our home and property. Paul was more than willing to come over and help us out. Forrest is much better now around the horses as we continue to work with him daily and we have learned how to manage him around strange dogs, cats and any other obstructions like passing motorcycles which he bolted after every time he heard their roaring engines.Paul really helped me understand and trust the long line method of training recall. Something I was worried about since Forrest is a big fast dog and I had already gotten injured with the long line before. Now!, it’s easy beazy… no problem. And Forrest‘s recall is amazing!! He thinks it’s a game! We’re continuing to work on leash reactivity around other dogs and I have full confidence that with Paul’s two amazing canine assistants, Daisy and Jaxon, Forrest and I will learn to walk and greet dogs safely and without any confrontations.Paul is gentle towards dogs, thoughtful towards their humans and so knowledgeable and supportive. I’ve worked with 3 trainers prior to Paul and although they were excellent, I’d choose Paul above them all if I were to start again.Mioritics are very strong willed, extremely protective of their home and owner, very wary of strangers yet Forrest loves Paul and accepted him as pack leader immediately when we first met.I’d recommend Paul for all dog breeds but especially for guardian breeds that require specific training to counter their dominant protective nature. Paul has taught me to be a great leader and Forrest is more relaxed, obedient and happier than ever before.

We are so happy we found Paul, we were dealing with some challenging behaviours from our puppy and didn’t know how to address them. Paul came highly recommended and he didn’t disappoint. He works with you and teach you what do you need to do to. I loved the personalized approach as we are working on the things we want to focus. We implemented the ideas that Paul gave us and what a difference it made in our lives! We are looking forward to continuing on our training journey with Paul.

About two years ago I decided that It would be a good idea to bring home a Malinois ( if you don’t know the breed think German Shepard only crazier with no off switch )i mean what could go wrong I had done my homework and was an experienced GSD owner so no problem eh .Well to cut a long story short “ OH MY GOD WHAT DID I DO HELP !!!!!!!So I reached out to Caissie Canine and myself and Rookie ( the aforementioned Maligator ) did the basic puppy course and i learnt how to work with a very high drive dog we followed it up with the e-collar training course and an introduction to tracking work.I have plans this summer to branch into some agility and scent work ( well Rookie not me I’m gonna be at the dumb end of the leash ) again with Caissie Canine .Throughout my Malinois adventure Caissie Canine has been amazing even when Rookie mistook Paul for a decoy and went for a little chew or when I’ve called then with a stupid question .if you have a high drive dog or dog that has you questioning your sanity then this is the place to help you and your dog become a team I really can’t recommend them highly enough .

Paul worked with our doodle that had horrible separation anxiety and occasional leash aggression towards other dogs. He took his time and worked with us to make a plan that best suit out dog and us. He was very knowledgeable and we have seen huge improvements in our pup since the training! Thanks Paul!

Paul assisted us with the training of our GS puppy and he's been an excellent resource for the past 6 months. He's always available to assist when issues come up, this is our 5th dog and she responds better than all of them thanks to his training! I would (and have) highly recommended him. Thanks Paul!

Paul is an excellent trainer who knows dogs extremely well. We did private training sessions with Paul and found them so helpful in improving our dogs basic obedience and behaviour, as well as our handling skills. We would recommend Paul as a trainer whether your dog needs basic or more complex training.
