A top notch department store of world class proportion. The place is huge as it takes an entire block. In short, they have it all with well displayed shelves and excellent decor. Friendly staff. Well worth the visit such that you won't be disappointed. Nice place.

They need to stop giving this place minor facelifts and do some serious renovations, it's just not appealing. The higher u go up in floors, the more depressing it gets.

The downtown Montreal The Bay is pretty much a staple. They always have great stuff if you need to buy yourself something or a great gift. There's also always a good sale going on.

The Bay is a great store, every level has distinct offerings, often on sale cheaper than actual branded stores. The one problem is the customer service experience (specifically downstairs men section). I continually find the staff downstairs to be unhelpful, uninformed, and honestly just rude. It happens everytime, and has been reiterated by a friends as well. Unfortunately the one drawback from an otherwise great shopping experience.
