RESTAURANT AriZ5 - Resto Mexicain - Montreal

This was the worst service I've had.In resume:-Service was slow and sloppy-Food was bland and cold-They charged us for 25 people even though we were 18Here is the long version:We had a reservation for 8pm, the restaurant was freezing most of us sat with our winter coats on, it took them about an hour and a half before they brought a plate of nachos (the menu had been predetermined so they new in advance what they were going to serve us) the cheese on the nachos wasn't even melted all the way. Even for the drinks the service was wacky, we had to ask for a rhum and coke 3 times before they brought it. Then they brought us a broccoli soup which was not even hot and they didn't even give us spoons, it took about 10min. Before we got spoons. The main dish was a plate of 3 tacos which were pretty bland in terms of taste. Then since we had made a reservation for 25 they charged us for the 25 people even though we were only 18 and refused to give us our money back for the 7 people they didn't even serve. I'll be going to 3 amigos next time and you should too.

The two stars are for the one burger that was good. Overpriced and underwhelming.

I stopped in for a quick bite and sadly only had time to grab a couple tacos. The tacos are amazing! Super cute atmosphere! Great music playing! Definitely worth stopping in! I will be sure to come back and try more items off the menu!

My friend and I found this restaurant to be great!!The pricing is in my opinion very fair considering the portion sizes. The 28$ grilled chicken plate I ordered was huge, could have easily been a plate for two. I had lots of yummy leftovers that I ate today. I personally didn’t find that the food was bland, I thought it was fresh and not overly seasoned. With that being said, if you expect very salty/seasoned and very fatty foods, this restaurant is probably not for you. For instance, their guacamole is extremely fresh and is not drenched in salt and lemon juice.The grilled chicken was lean and not overly seasoned (I liked it a lot and so did my friend). Their beer fries are very good (my friend really really liked them, he says they are the best potatoes in town) and unique. Their beans were good. Their rice was different than rice I usually eat (in a good way), it seemed slightly fried and has onions in it. Guac was insanely good (as mentioned above). Each plate came with 4 tortillas.My friend took the beef plate (30$) and we found it very good, it was high quality meat.Concerning the service, I think it was good. It took maybe 15-20 minutes (I don’t remember very well honestly, but it didn’t take very long) for us to get our plates, which was very fair considering the freshness of the food (especially the guac). My friend and I were served by two super nice waiters. They were super polite, nice and laid back (in a good way), I don’t get why so many people complained about the service on here. A lot of the bad reviews here were probably written by overly demanding customers in my opinion.We were not charged extra for the spicy sauces (my friend likes spicy sauces and he liked them a lot) and marinated onions the waiter brought to our table.One of the waiters made a great beer recommendation, my friend liked it.Maybe an improvement tip for them would be to have paper menus as they are more convenient/easy to use than “online QR code menus” (maybe they had paper menus but we didn’t see/find them).Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, it is very unique.

Nice ambient, tasty nachos and a singing performance during our dinning! Singing classic Mexican songs where all the customers would sing together. I had a great enjoyable night here! One of a kind experience.

This restaurant is badly understaffed. The food is not very good at all and the mixed drinks are not good either. However the atmosphere is great and the waiters are amazing.

Absolutely adored this restaurant! We stumbled upon it while walking in Montreal. So glad we decided to try it. The food was delicious and the entertainment and music was AMAZING!

A messy service, bringing wrong orders to the table, missing part of the orders.They made us pay way too much for shot without warning us (like the actual price a glass of wine).The food was actually bland, lacking spice I guess.The payment took wait too long as well as they miss-matched every receipt, like 20 minutes minimum to figure out who should actually pay for what.If you are a male, also be careful of the toilets, it was crumbling down (bits of the ceiling missing for example), not clean at all.I would sincerely not recommend this place.

Never ate food so sad-looking and not worth its money , only took a picture of the tacos, but they were no toppings, only the bare minimum. One taco is 6.50$… I got quesadilla and again, there were only meat, cheese and the tortilla in itself. My partner asked for some salsa to go w his taco so they charged him 75 cents for sour cream. Aren’t tacos supposed to come w some salsa at the very least. The food was miserable, the service was very minimal, a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely delicious and authentic, I personally had the Birras platter which hit exactly the craving I was looking for. Service was very kind and helpful even when understaffed. Definitely recommend if you're looking to scratch your mexican food itch while roaming St-Denis
