The Growling Gator
Loved the ambience. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. You can see the beach and if you happen to go at sunset you have a beautiful view of sunset while you have dinner.The food is amazing and the it taste delicious.If you wish to have not so chilly food this place is highly recommended.The staff at this place provide excellent services.

I would only go there for drinks and the view, the food was probably the worst food I’ve ever had. We didn’t even eat any of our food and the staff didn’t even comment or offer us anything else in compensation. Paid over 100$ for 2 drinks pretty much. Left our table with all our plates still full of food. Would probably never go back. So disappointed the hype was definitely not worst it. I do not recommend.( just have to add, our waitress was super sweet tho )

I enjoyed eating here! Wonderful atmosphere and courteous staff. We asked to be seated in a booth outside and they easily accommodated us! The waiter, also the bartender, was an absolute gentleman. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was a thick delicious cut, with chunks of high quality blue cheese and delicious fresh fries. If you want to have some nice food with beautiful views in Grand Bend, this is a great spot. Highly recommended!

The bartender in the last picture I uploaded wasn’t fair enough. She humiliated my friends and me for not tipping her and shown an attitude. I was told it’s customers responsibility to pay tip for their service no matter what. I am sorry as a foreign customer it’s not an obligation to tip a service provider if I don’t like the service: but I find this unfair to ask for it and humiliate.

The Growling Gator
The coconut shrimp was absolutely delicious, and I also enjoyed the quesadillas. In addition, they have tasty cocktails that complemented the meal perfectly. However, what really sets this place apart is the mesmerizing sunsets and views of the beach. It's truly breathtaking and keeps me coming back every year. If you're looking for a great meal with a stunning view and delicious drinks, I highly recommend The Growling Gator.

It’s a nice restaurant with a good view, decor, music. Location is great and that’s probably why they are busy and their service is not so good. We were seated pretty quickly even though there was a line up. However, it took 1 hour for our food to arrive and their reasoning was that one of the dishes we ordered was main. Okay. The steak we ordered as medium rare came absolutely rare so we weren’t sure why it took them 1 hour to make a raw steak. We got a discount of 20% for the steak, well I guess thanks?Food was not bad in general not counting the raw steak. I’d say if you’re hungry on a Saturday evening and don’t want to end up being disappointed, go elsewhere

The place is nice as you can have a good view of the Grand Bend Main beach. Probably when is summer with a nice whether the place will be full. But in my case it was windy and sunny outside so I could enjoy the view and sun with no wind.
