CAA Store - Belleville

I'm an accountant and very concerned about the legitimacy of this insurer when it comes to auto policy sales. I have been insured with them for a while but when I called to make changes I received some sketchy answers (kept referring to a car I no longer had, when asked to just forget about it and put it back the way it was I was charged an extra $19 per month) and was unable to escalate to a supervisor.

Our experience with dealing with the staff have been positive. They are efficient, knowledgeable and professional in dealing with their clients. We have been a member of CAA for decades and have used a variety of their services. Roadside assistance, travel brochures and travel insurance. We have found them to be competitively priced and quick to respond. They are highly recommended. This recommendation extends to all branches of the CAA that we have visited. Belleville, Oshawa and Peterborough.

As long time members we are very disappointed with the service, or lack of that we received on the afternoon of Wednesday June 7. We approached the travel section to obtain some information. One lady was busy with clients, the other lady was on the phone. We waited patiently, it is common courtesy not to interrupt someone while they are on a call. And then with phone in hand and still attached to her ear she said bluntly what do you want?" We responded that we wanted to inquire about travel. With her finger pointing in a general direction she said that we needed to make an appointment. The lady on the desk showed very little interest to accomadate us. We then left. The customer service we received today was totally unacceptable. Let me remind you that we the members and customers are the ones who pay your salary."

As members of CAA we have used their services for our travel insurance, travel advice, passport pictures, and travel accessories.The staff are all so friendly and helpful.

Always helpful, the Belleville CAA team set me up with my international driving permit (IDP) every year. You can do this by downloading the form and sending it in by mail or in a twenty minute visit in person - don't forget to bring your valid Canadian driver's license with you!

We’ve been involved in an accident, although this has nothing to do with CAA store in Belleville, it’s been well over a month and yet we’ve never heard a word from the adjusters, they gave the go ahead to the repair company to fix the vehicle without even talking to us, there is 33,000$ damage on the vehicle that is worth 49,000 and yet no consideration is taken for the car fax. Stay away from CAA insurance. They are there when you need a tow or anything but when it’s insurance they disappear just as easy.

My wife & I have been purchasing our travel insurance from CAA for a long time. Price is great. They did a great job putting together everything for our travel needs. They even have the neck cushion 4 the plane.
