Beautiful scenery. Great staff. Nice chalets but could use air conditioning during hot summer days.

My husband and I had an amazing time. Our chalet was beautiful and clean, water was crystal clear to swim in, and lots of activities to do (kayak, tennis - bring own raquet, hiking, swimming. No spa, sauna, or restaurant right now). The sunset by the beach was stellar.

The perfect canadian experience. Pocal restaurant with nice food, a beach with kayaks and paddle boards, you can play tennis or do wake board. Think about getting enough food supplies as the nearest market is 30 minutes away.

A tranquil paradise so close to home!We've been to Le Village Windigo many times, and have always enjoyed it's tranquility and beauty of the surrounding Boreal forests.This is a full service resort, on the shore of Le Baskatong Reservoir, in upper Laurentians region. The closest town is Mont-Laurier where you can get groceries and alcohol. It is about half an hour of drive, and the road to the resort is very bumpy, some stretches are not paved with many turns, so not an easy drive.The resort offers pretty much all activities free of charge, including kayaking, SUP, mountain bike, tennis, a small obstacle course, etc. There used to be a floating castle near the beach which my girls had many hour of fun, but the last 2 times we were there the castle was gone, would love to have it replaced! You can also rent a motor boat or pontoon, there is good fishing in the reservoir, but you'll need a licence to operate a motor boat in Quebec.The resort offers many lodging options, there is the beach front condo, which is probably the only ones with a faint WIFI connection (from the restaurant), and cottages with 2-5 bedrooms. I believe that only the beachfront condo units offer AC, all other cottages do not have AC, but you rarely need it.All condo/cottages come with a fully equipped kitchen, nice linens and you can get beach towels from the reception. There is no room service, however you can get your towels and bed sheets replaced by hanging the replacement card on your door, and the hotel staff will come and replace them for you. The rooms are well appointed, although some units are showing signs of aging and lack of repair, they are in large part kept up to date.What we love the most about this place is really the tranquility. It's always quiet and you are surrounded by nature. Sunset on the Baskatong is so beautiful, and watching the waves crashing to shore is a meditative activity. At night, on a clear day, you can even see the Milky Way, it's just unbelievable!There are various activities in the nearby Devil's Mountain, such as ATV, hiking, snowshoeing etc. We particularly enjoy Chute Windigo, a natural giant water slide that my kids enjoyed very much.This is a little gem hidden in the upper Laurentians, highly recommend!

One of my favorite stops while snowmobiling in Quebec with or without the wives. This is not roughing it. Friendly helpful staff. Our chalet was awesome. The dinner was excellent!

Excelent location , sandy beach , great water . Staff speaks English and is very polite . The grounds are clean and the rooms are what you need for a vacation .

Very nice area, stopped by while travelling through the area to warm up and have a drink. People were pleasant and plenty of accommodations. Would definitely consider renting a cabin.

A very tranquil place in the middle of nowhere. I took my 5 year old son for a 4 day stay and he has never had more fun...he cried when we left. We stayed in the Sphair and it was very cool, then a few nights in a fantastic waterview condo. The service was excellent and the staff were all very accommodating and I can not wait to go back. The restaurant was top notch as well.
