Darlene and Bergie are wonderful welcoming hosts. Darlene was very helpful in planning what to do in the area. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. Great bed and fabulous views. Restaurant had delicious options. Staff were warm and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. My favorite stay while in Newfoundland.

We stayed with Darlene for three nights at the end of our 10 day trip. She made us feel welcomed and at home from the first moment we arrived. She helped with dinner reservations, tour bookings etc. Great attention was given to making this Inn feel relaxing and comfortable. There are a lot of places to sit quietly and take in the beautiful scenery , have a drink, chat, have dinner. Great attention to detail in each suite, nothing was lacking. The breakfast was so convenient and got us off to a great start. It was the perfect place to end our trip. Can’t thank you enough Darlene for creating and hosting such a special place.

A lovely little motel beside the sea. With a lounge at the front with tables and chairs and binoculars, you could watch the ocean and the Eagles and the whales for hours.

Awesome stay at Bonne Bay Inn. Darlene and Bergie are fantastic hosts. Our king room was immaculate. Very comfy bed, lovely shower with great toiletries. The dining showcased local ingredients and everything was delicious. Darlene also helped us book at another restaurant and was very knowledgeable. Would definitely return!

What an amazing spot. The rooms are spotless and what a comfy bed. I would recommend the on-site restaurant and have included photos of the Mushroom ravioli,The glazed salmon and the slow braised beef. Also the Moose samosas and NFLD salt bread were delicious appetizers.What amazing scenery. Truly a wonderful experience and it will be on my places to stay when we return.Darlene Thank you for everything.

Darlene the owner does a wonderful job of making you feel instantly welcome at the hotel. Recognizing we had been on the road awhile she offered her laundry facilities so we could do our laundry. The rooms are not fancy or large but they are functional, with a great view and comfortable bed. Dinner was great. My partner had the cod and I had braised beef. Our friends had the Crab cakes and salad. The Complimentary breakfast includes two types of scrambled eggs, various bread and buns fruit salad and yogurt. Darlene even had gluten-free bread which is rare in western NL. The rooms are quiet at night even though the hotel is roadside. There is a lounge with full bar, dining room and lobby.

This roadside inn was possibly one of our most favourite places we stayed in during our two week trip to Newfoundland. So much thought and care were obviously taken when it was last renovated a few years ago, to make this a perfect place to rest and relax after a long drive or a day of exploring Gros Morne. The spacious lounge, bar, restaurant and cozy rooms were all impeccably clean and comfortable with many places to enjoy the view of Bonne Bay. Great hot and cold breakfast offerings. Free laundry available. Our room had a walk in shower, a Keurig coffeemaker, and fridge. Wifi worked well. It was a two minute drive to the Gros Morne Discovery Center, 10 minutes to the Table Lands Hike and 15 minutes to the Green Garden trailhead.What put Bonne Bay Inn over the top for us was our host Darlene (and her adorable dog, Bergie!) and the staff at the Inn. Darlene was the best host and one of the warmest, kindest people we met during our entire trip. So friendly, helpful and talkative without being intrusive, she really made our trip!We wished we had stayed more than one night at Bonne Bay Inn and will go out of our way to figure out how to stay there again when we revisit Newfoundland!

The location is perfect for visiting and hiking all that Gros Morne National park has to offer.The accomodation was extremely well appointed and clean. The food was amazing! It was professionally prepared and artistically presented. The beer and wine list was good and reasonably priced. Our host/owner, Darlene, was extremely friendly and helped us with great information and recommendations about local hikes and attractions. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend Bonne Bay Inn to all.Patti and Wayne

The Bonne Bay Inn has 10 comfortable, modern rooms, all with terrific views of Bonne Bay and Gros Morne mountain.The breakfast is included and they serve wonderful scrambled eggs along with fruit, bagels, home made muffins, etc.The Elements Pub is well stocked with your favorite beverage, including non-alcoholic beer. The Blue Ocean Dining Room serves excellent dinners with great service.The owner, Darlene, and her staff, are friendly and provide great service to their guests.Highly recommended the Bonne Bay Inn for anyone looking for both high quality rooms and dining.
