The Torch & Tiger Tattoo

The Torch & Tiger is absolutely amazing and is seriously one of the best places to get tattooed! I live in Alberta and it is definitely worth the drive.Ollie is one of the most talented and dedicated Tattoo Artists that I have ever worked with, hands down. I have over 30 hours in with him and I'm nowhere close to being done yet, lol.See ya again soon man!

I was so happily surprised by the quality and efficiency of Ollie's work. I've seen his designs on other people, and have been wanting one from him for a while. He is one of a dying breed of true artists of the craft, he's as old school as we can seem to find these days,( and I loved chatting about tattooist history and evolution, and the calibre of people tattooists used to work on). He's got a touch perfected over decades of experience, and was done so lightning fast I almost couldn't believe it.Also to note- He was also one of very few male tattooists I felt absolutely safe with (normally I bring support person, because there's so many horror stories of other tattooists out there), and Ollie was a perfect Gentleman.[I understand the day I went in was part of a promotion that was way more popular than anyone could have possibly predicted, and things went sideways, but hearing numbers, I wasimpressed that Ollie, his wife, and staff rolled with it as well as they did (I know I wouldn't have). They are Rock stars, in my books. Well done, and thank you.It also sounds like there are plans to correct for *next time*. ;)I get that some people are put out by the chaos of the day, but we have to remember that professionals are still human, and have human limitations. ]

Can’t say enough good things about this place. My boyfriend and I came to “the torch & tiger tattoo” for matching traditional tattoos on Wednesday. Ollie was very professional, and his shop was extremely clean. He is very easy to talk to, and his tattoo work is fantastic. Our tattoos came out awesome! And the line work/bright colours are top notch. Thanks again Ollie! We will be back.

Ollie is a very straightforward person of which I respect hugely. He tells it as it is so you get the quality and design he thinks your deserve.The shop is extremely clean and well kept which immediately put me at ease, as well as how detailed he will be with you if you have questions and concerns.I can appreciate how chatty and full of stories Ollie can be, as it genuinely takes your mind off of the pain because you’re too busy laughing and sharing stories back.Overall, a great experience and I hope I can have the pleasure of coming back for more ink!Thanks Ollie!

Ollie is very knowledgeable and always delivers excellent clean work. The shop is beautiful and even his apprentice Hayley is rad too. If you live in or are headed to the Kootenays, be sure to check these guys out.

Awesome work here. I was passing through for work and called him up. 2 days later I got in for 2 pieces. He showed obvious excitement for my shoulder piece and asked to put some extra sauce on it. It was more color than I'm used to so I was nervous but it turned out amazing. The colors made it turn out better than I was expecting. I hope to get back soon.

Very arrogant! thinks he’s too good for everybody kind of guy. Typical artist that walks in here and lasts 2 years before he ruins his reputation and has to move elsewhere. Waists half your time talking about nonesense and has over charged every time I’ve gone in there

I’ve been getting tattooed by Ollie for a number of years. He’s done a full sleeve for me amongst others. He takes my simple ideas and turns them into badass trad pieces. My oldest tattoo is probably almost 10 years old and it looks phenomenal still. As well he has great taste in music and is hilarious to hang out with.Would recommend for all your trad needs and for good punk rock tunes.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ollie about a month ago on a recommendation from another artist. I was looking for someone to do a traditional style tattoo and really wanted to have it hit out of the park. Well, I can honestly say Ollie not only exceeded my expectations he blew it out of the water. The guy is the real deal and I feel stoked to have such a talented artist in our community! Looking forward to getting back into the chair and adding to my collection!
