James did a fantastic job with our Yamaha upright piano that had not been tuned for at least 15 years and a couple of moves. Courteous and professional service. Would definitely recommend James to anyone who needs a piano tuned.

Highly recommend James - he's a very likeable guy who is clearly skilled at his craft. He tuned and serviced my 50+ year old piano and did a great job. He was able to schedule service within a few days and arrived at the arranged time. From my limited knowledge he seemed to spend a good amount of time ensuring that the job was done properly.

We recently inherited a piano from a neighbour that was out of tune and in need of some serious TLC. A friend referred us to James, who was more than willing to help! James took the time and care needed to get our piano back to working condition. We can’t stress enough how great of a job James did. He was professional, courteous and treated the piano as if it were his own. You can tell by the workmanship that James is passionate about his craft, and will go above and beyond to make his clients happy. He even sourced material needed to fix some broken keys! We highly recommend JD Pianotech.

James is such a fine gentleman who has the passion towards music that strives for his outstanding craftsmanship. Amazing job done on tuning and adjusting the pitch on the Petrof. The booking system is easy to use and his responses are prompt. I would definitely recommend his service.

James did a stellar job on our old, neglected Gourlay! Brought the pitch up to concert pitch, tuned it perfectly, and even fixed a couple of sticking keys. And had to put up with me and my million questions!Very professional, very personable... highly recommended!

Excellent service! Our piano was out of tune for about 6 or 7 years and had some broken keys. James was super friendly, easy to book and did great work to restore our old piano. I highly recommend him.

James has taken care of both our home piano and the piano at our church in the last couple of weeks. We couldn't be happier. He is friendly and professional. His scheduling system is easy to use. And the work is perfect. Even when extra work needs to be done, he is upfront with time and cost and doesn't assume on anything.
