DIY Workshops

We had the pleasure of working with Shenelle from DIY Workshops at a corporate event we ran last summer and we booked her again for this summer's event! She really knows her stuff when it comes to managing large adult groups.

I booked a party at the start of the pandemic in 2020.  I cancelled it with the hopes of rescheduling it in the summer, but ultimately ended up cancelling it all together in September.  They will charge everyone in your party prior to your party and they do not issue refunds. As per their website, they will send you at home kits instead. A year later, I am still waiting for three kits. Shenelle, the owner, is not very responsive.  She is always very pleasant in her emails and claims to be going through some personals issues, but at this point I feel like I am out $150. I last heard from her two months ago.  If half of my party had not received their kits I would have thought I had been completely scammed. So just be very wary if deciding to book a party with this company.

My friends and i had a lot of fun doing this workshop. Shenelle came to our house - she was friendly, professional and very helpful. The boards weren't hard to make, even for those of us who don't have much artistic talent. Any mistakes we made, Shenelle helped us fix - highly recommend this for a fun night doing something fun and different!

Such a great time, everything is provided and very well organized! Makes for a great evening and you leave with a custom sign!

The DIY Workshop was such a great idea for an at home Bachelorette Party. All the girls loved it and their signs.From an organization perspective, it was such an easy process with excellent communication and customer service at ALL times.An online event is created for you with all the details (name of party, location, time etc.) with a link to share with your guests; this allows your guests the opportunity to go on themselves and choose their sign details and pay all on their own! It makes the job of the host much less stressful.Shenelle was also a lovely instructor. She definitely knows how to help everyone create an excellent end product.I would definitely recommend this!

Had a great private party. Picked kits up before hand and have everything we needed for a fun night of sign making.

Shenelle was a dream to work with. She was responsive, helpful, accommodating and super friendly. All of our attendees thoroughly enjoyed our workshop with DIY! There were so many options to choose from, we all hard trouble picking just one! I would absolutely recommend DIY Workshops to friends & family, and anyone looking to have a fun crafty event!
