Dewdney Animal Hospital

I learned of this virtue signaling vet a few days ago online. He was engaged for HOURS in online arguments with many different people regarding drag queen shows. There were some concerned parents who stated they were against having their 6 year old kids entertained by these adults and that triggered Dr. Walton BIG TIME. He actually went on to say that if you don't agree with him, don't bring your animals to his clinic! He is all inclusive with the drag queens, but if you have a different opinion, you are now excluded! I'm happy I read all of that as I have 3 dogs. This vet is no where near stable enough mentally to go near my family members!After reading some of the comments here....wow...dude has an ego.HARD PASS ON THIS VET!

Dewdney Animal Hospital is by far one of the best veterinary clinics I have visited in the lower mainland. They were extremely professional, polite, and caring. Would definitely recommend them if you ever find your pets are in distress or need a check-up.

Dr Walton is really a breath of fresh air in the vet practice industry. He's honest and up front, and he's compassionate and knowledgeable. He's also humble in the fact that if it's not his area of expertise, he lets you know up front. Thanks again, Dr. Walton!

Dewdney Animal Hospital has provided nothing but exceptional care, understanding, and advice for our two cats Tucker & Zoe and for our dog Duke (the March 18th 2022 cute pet of the day) through his cancer diagnosis and treatment plans. Dr. Walton also provided the best care possible for my mother's cat Hugo after cancer was found. I would have no hesitation recommending Dr. Walton and his staff for the care of beloved family pets.

We take our small parrots in for a pedicure every 3 months. A good bird vet is hard to find - we found Dr. Walton!!So happy with Dewdney animal hospital. The busy Office is clean and well organized. staff are friendly and helpful.

Wonderful vet, he is so kind and patient with my kids and my pets. He did my puppy's shots, did my cats neuter and shots. I was such a nervous new dog mom, but he was so kind and didn't rush me at all. Made sure to answer all my silly questions. Best part, he is inclusive and will treat every PERSON with respect.

This is the best Vet I have had in 50 years. Staff is compassionate, caring and helpful. Affordable too ! Both my cats are now under their care. Thank you !

Brought my fur-baby in for suspected tick bites this am, without an appointment as phones were down. The receptionist was very attentive and Dr. Walton saw us within 10 minutes!! Happy to report it wasn’t ticks! Thank you Dewdney Animal Hospital & Dr. Walton for taking care of Monty - we really appreciate it!!

I just saw a news briefing on Dr, Walton and am not surprised. He likes attention. Very rude and inflated ego. Killed one of our dogs with the wrong medication, almost killed our other dog after months of milking us for our money. We walked into a pet shop looking for ways to help our dog and the PET STORE CLERK diagnosed our dog on the spot and we were able to order what he needed online that same day. He couldn’t digest his food properly and needed an enzyme for his food. He was basically starving for months with organs starting to fail. Awful, awful, awful vet practice. This is not just ‘the odd bad review’ our experience was definitively proving of Dr. Walton’s lack of knowledge. The worst part is that during our appointments he speaks with such conviction and authority to the point of scoffing at our suggestions and concerns. Something I learn more and more over the years, is those that speak most loudly and surely are often the ones that know the least. We have conversed with others that lived in Maple Ridge who had similar experiences. Rest assured - we were clients of yours! Rex and Frankie.
