Tori-San Ramen (Ajax)

I was excited to see a virtual ramen kitchen in Ajax but sadly the ramen was well below standard. I was hoping to be reminded of the extremely complex (in a great way) and tasty broth offerings of Sansotei/Kinton/Konjiki ramen in Toronto but the black garlic ramen that I ordered tasted like a terrible copycat recipe gone wrong. The noodles basically felt like instant noodles and the broth had no flavour or salt or black garlic oil. I'm not a fan of leaving negative reviews for restaurants and especially new ones but considering the steep price point (spent $45 for two bowls), you're better off looking elsewhere to satisfy your ramen craving.

I didn’t feel like going to my usual locations in Toronto so i decided to try this place and it was horrible! please save yourself the time and order from a real ramen restaurant. The broth was tasteless, the noodles were worse than instant ramen and the price was steep for the quality. I didn’t even bother finishing it and threw it out immediately. I also bought gyoza and the sauce was mayo, nothing like the ones you get from authentic Japanese restaurants.
