Super clean and newly refreshed. The receptionist was a pleasure and more than helpful with suggestions.

Excellent room, clean with comfortable bed and a working desk and chair. TV service also very good, as is the wifi. Restaurant in hotel serves excellent food at a good value quickly and efficiently.

A 2 night stay for work was delightful. Wonderful restaurant, attentive, considerate, accommodating staff. Clean building all about. View is brilliant (ask for lake front if you can--gorgeous sunrise!) Thank you Waterfront Inn.

Such a disappointmentWe booked this hotel this past weekend for a hockey tournament7-9 year old children, getting to experience what every young hockey player looks forward to, a hotel stay with they’re friends!When booking, it was CLEAR that this was a young hockey team. Not once was I advised of any issues with young children. I was not given any specific details or rules regarding having a group of children.Upon check in, a few families were immediately scolded. They kids didn’t even step foot in the hotel yet and they were already in trouble.The hostess YELLED at our children multiple times for being in the hallway.Our floor was for the most part, booked by our team. There may have been a few snow mobilers however at no point in the DAY did we see one (they were obviously out enjoying the snow) so there’s no way they complained about kids waking the halls.They went so far as to bring out security and threaten to kick us out into the snow.At no point we’re these kids being excessively loud. They were laughing and playing video games with their friends. We were told we cannot stand in the hallway to supervise our kids going from one room to the other, We were to remain in our room at all times with the doors closed.We asked to use a common area such as the dinning hall which was not being occupied at the time and were told that a previously hockey team ruined it, all hockey teams are the same and they were not about to let us destroy that area.I’m not even going to get into the aggressive tones and language they used with us.Although the room was lovely and the restaurant was amazing, accommodating and GREAT with our kids, As a member of the minor hockey association I will NOT be recommending this hotel to any of our future teams traveling for tournaments 0/10

Cathy and the rest of the staff go out of there way to create a friendly and safe place to stay. Cathy always helped us when we call for a room, especially during family emergencies. The hotel is excellent and clean. We do miss the breakfast room, but understand with COVID that there are special rules right now. The attached restaurant is also an amazing bonus!

I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be returning with my family. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff are amazing. There is enough amenities close by that it makes your stay super easy going. It’s on such a beautiful walking path too. Definitely an amazing place to go to unwind and get back in touch with nature.

Really nice overall, the water pressure in the shower is very strong, refreshing in contrast to what many other hotel's problems are (lack of pressure). The room was clean, no residue hair from previous guests. I took off one star because, though I do not doubt that the sheets are clean, it remains unsightly when there are stains on them. Otherwise the rooms seem in good shape, the pillows should be cycled soon as some seems to be reaching end of life. Cold continental breakfast was pleasent, and overall the stay was very good.

Pleasantly surprised upon arrival! Pictures do not do it justice. We had a room facing the lake with direct access to the boardwalk - perfect for a morning walk with a beautiful view! Staff were delightful and informative. Rooms are clean and updated. Restaurant has a casual pub style vibe and was open until midnight! Food was decent, service was fantastic.

We had an unexpected extension on our stay here. Location is extremely nice with a southern view across many miles of lake. Very nice lakefront trails in immediate area. Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When our stay was unexpectedly extended, staff assisted us in every way possible to arrange transportation, and offered to store our excess belongings until we could return for them. The 28 on the lake" restaurant attached to the hotel was also a lovely place to enjoy some excellent food."

Great views from the water side rooms, friendly service, restaurant in the same building and amazing food, there is a fitness centre and pool however it is not free to use, as it is owed by others .
