Helped me figure out why my car was making a noise it shouldn't have. Very accommodating for my immediate fix and helped me right away. Gave me good advice on a separate issue on another part of my car. Appreciate the quick and friendly service.

I went to Ben with an exhaust pipe issue. Instead of talking all my money, he suggested some alternatives that were less expensive. I appreciated the honestly. He also went above and beyond to give me some advice and help with other minor things with my car without charging me. He knows his stuff and is very pleasant to work with. Thank you for great service!

In brief they were nothing short of amazing. They were able to see us right away. Able to diagnose the problem even when the car would not let them read codes and were able to find the best solution with the smallest price tag. Ben was kind and friendly and cared about the story behind the car and the people in it. If I was ever stranded close to Oshawa area I would go out of my way to be back at Big Bens.

Superb service, very friendly, very good hour rate.I had an issue with my truck cranking but not starting while in a weekend trip away from home. They did take time to take a look and repair my truck even with their busy scedule! (Must have been after regular opening hour time)Can't thanks them enough for that fast service!Big thumbs up!

I have been to Big Ben’s Auto to fix my A/C on my vehicle. I told him that it was not blowing cold air.He did a A/C service to it (recovered the freon and vacuumed the system and put oil and dye in it. He also repair 1 wiring connection and schrader valve. That was a cost of almost $800.When I picked it up it worked for about an hour and it started to blow warm air. I contacted Ben to let him know what happened and I told him I would drop it off so he can have a look at it. I told him that it probably blown a fuse.When Ben had a look at it he came to the conclusion that the fuse had blown and he said it was due to the compressor drawing too much current and I probably needs a new compressor. He said I should try it again. I asked him to extend the fuse wires so If the fuse blows I could replace it easier. That bill was almost $300....WOWWell after running the A/C for about 1 hr the fuse blew again...same problem that has not been repaired after over $1000 of work that I have done.I contacted Ben again and he had no answer as to why the A/C stopped other then that he told me that the compressor might need replacing. But after over $1000 of work I think he should of found that problem from the start. The word might doesn’t sound promising.Ben’s answer is that “it was working when it left here” maybe if he had it running for the hour to see if it was working probably since I told him it would run for an hour and stop.I’m not sure if I would trust him with big repairs as not everyone has all kinds of money to through at a vehicle and not to have it repaired because of miss diagnosis.I have the text message conversation between myself and Ben, When I addressed my concerns with him and did not at anytime try to rectify my concerns.I had to go to another mechanic to have the same problem repaired that Ben could not which was not the AC compressor as Ben suggested it was.If anyone needs to view the text messages they can contact me.

Ben is the best mechanic I’ve been to, my family have been long term customers of his. My grandfather has been going nearly since he opened and recommended me right away after receiving excellent quality work In great time. Ben always takes the time to make sure you understand what’s going on with your vehicle and only uses the best parts. My truck has never ran better since I’ve started going to him. Thanks Ben!

If you ever wondered a place like this existed, it does. Ben will give you all your possible options, auto repairs could sometime be very costly. Ben gave me solutions with all my options in terms of pricing. Since I don’t know very much about cars, he explained everything in a way I understood, and why I need some of the repairs done. If it is a safety concern, he let me know. I have a 1998 model car and he got it running smoothly at an extremely reasonable price. He’s also very accommodating in terms of turnaround, my exhaust pipe broke one morning, he got it done within a couple of hours without an appointment. Maybe I just got lucky that day but doesn’t matter, bottom line, he made me happy with the service and price. Thank you Ben.
