MLux Spa & Nails Lounge Red Deer

I decided to go to this salon after a recommendation from a friend. What a nightmare.My first set was very nicely done, and my second set…. The nails started peeling off after 3 days!! I went back once to get it fixed, and the next day, it peeled off even more. Now, my life isn’t really hand-intensive as I work in retail. This is not normal wear and tear. For $75 I expect more than 3 days worth.She also applied polish over my old colour!! $75 for polish! Absurd.I asked for a refund and they refused. They then decided they would give me a refund if they removed my nails. Well, this didn’t remove them.. they did this to them, which I think is worse. See picture below. She cut them as jagged as possible, and didn’t even take off all of the colour. I would never recommend visiting this salon, especially because they don’t refund even if you have an issue.

They deleted my original review. The service was very poor. I got a new gel set for $100. I told her I only wanted one finger with a design not two, i was charged for both. When I tried to stop her from putting the design on the second finger she sushed me and said she knew. I paided and left. In the natrual light and up close they are very bad. Many of may nails have my natrual nail exposed. They are very lumpy and thick. Not one nail is identical in shape. The ombre is very blocky. I asked for a refund as I simply don't have the time to come in agian. They refuse to give me the owners number or email. I didn't even want a full refund. I just wanted to pay for the product. They said it was impossibleI went to get them fixed as they could not refund me at all. They didn't listen to me when I tried to explain what was wrong. They insisted I should jave asked for what I wanted different. I showed a picture. The lady who redid my nails ,Jane was the only reasonable lady I spoke to. They charged me for the nail files, when i came to get then fixed. I guess your supposed to bring them back. On the way out she cornered me and insisted that I liked them.

Angie did a wonderful job on my nails, listened to everything I asked for. She was very fast yet made sure every thing was perfect! I will definitely be coming back :)

Atmosphere and staff are top notch.Selection of services is great.4 of us went for pedis & manis and had a lot of fun.Only problem- our cuticles were not pushed back on toes or fingernails. Next time I’ll ask to make sure this is done.

My nail tech was Elly and I loved her. She talked with me throughout the whole time and I loved it as I’m a chatty person! My nails look wonderful and my feet are soft like a baby’s. I will absolutely return. Elly has a client forever!!

I was half hour late arriving, due to construction. They took me in at 7:30pm anyway, and the young lady did the fastest, most perfect pedicure in under a half hour! I was amazed! The only thing they don't have is massage chairs.

She did awesome at fixing my nails. She didn't have any color, so she mixed color to match, and she did awesome .

We paid for the same service, sat next to each other, and had 2 different experiences. Unfortunately, what was the same, was scalding hot water, super rough/painful cuticle work, unsanitized dremel files on our toenails, and nail polished dripped on our shoes. Quality of service just didn't match the price or atmosphere. Shame.

Awesome experience, had a pedicure service by tech Nav. Very kind and professional service. Went with my wife and mother, sat in vibrating chairs for the services. Drinks are available
