Poor customer service, i would recommend not going to Sooke Uhaul, its worth the time to go somewhere else

Save yourself some time, energy and money by avoiding doing business with the folks over at 6228 Sooke Road uHaul.I experienced everything negative in my exchange with these people; with being yelled at by the owner’s adolescent son to being yelled at by the owner himself, with amusing threats that the owner was connected to organized crime and that I should “watch myself”.To be fair, this gentleman educated me as I wasn’t aware “organized crime” employed individuals who could barely rub their two brain cells together to form a somewhat coherent sentence. The sentence being discussed was a volley of childish profanities that would make a drunken sailor blush.I could recommend a new career change to these two lovely men by suggesting a career without much interpersonal communication, like accounting. Having said that however, I was charged incorrectly for a two-day rental so preschool arithmetic would not be one of their marketable skills.In summation, I would recommend carrying each box to your new home by hand or purchasing a wooden cart drawn by a couple of oxen as this would be a much more pleasurable and reliable moving experience.

Worst customer service ever received. I walked out and went to Langford. Should not even be in business.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Spent almost $10,000 renting a 26’ truck and trailer from Nova Scotia to Sooke, returned both to this Sooke drop off… I accidentally left my $40 padlock on the rear of the truck. Instead of phoning me to come back and remove it (I only live 5 minutes away) they CUT IT OFF AND CHARGED ME A $60 CLEANING FEE!!! Just a bunch of scammers!!! AVOID!!!!

FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend this Uhaul truck rental agent The customer service and vehicles/trailers available make renting here a breeze! I have rented trucks on short notice and with a longer term reservation from this agent both in Sooke and Duncan.. The drive is worth it! Five Stars!!

I had a great experience at this place. Friendly , helpful service in finding the perfect box to ship my awkward shaped item. Shout out to Justin who went above and beyond to help make it all happen, thank you!

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Over charged us for the extra 2 days that we had to add because they forgot to do it in the first place. Couldn't supply the dollies but refused to take the money off for them and then screamed and curssed at my wife when she tried to talk to him about. Big man trying to intimidate a women. If I could give them negative star rating I would.

Horrible place.They wrote down the wrong mileage when I rented and then wouldn't make it right. I got dinged for over $100 of mileage I DIDN'T make. Staff are a miserable lot. Will never rent from them again. Make the trip into Langford, you'll be happy you did.

Service was okayish. 4 out of 5 visits were prompt. Our last visit we waited about 10 minutes for staff to finish a personal call before being acknowledged at all. Pretty good but a sub par conclusion.
