Wow, we really didn't know what to expect but we were so impressed with our 2 day sailing trip! Captain Greg and Moose were very knowledgeable and patient with us. Love going through St.Peters canal! We would definately book again.

I have always wanted to go sailing and Captain Greg and Brandon made that dream a reality. We booked a private charter with Captain Greg for the day and it did not disappoint. The boat was lovely and there was lots of space to explore and sit on different parts of the boat to get a different perspective of the lake and sail around you. One of the best parts of the day was that we were able to drive the boat ourselves! I never in a million years would have thought that I'd be handling a sailboat--albeit it was a little scary but Captain Greg was there the entire time for reassurance. We were able to dock for lunch and even had a quick dip in the lake. On top of that, they were great conversationalist and it felt like we were among friends. There was a safe place for us to park our car and it was a quick walk to the dock. Additionally, the price was great for a full day of sailing. If you're ever in the Bras D'or Lake area and you'd like to sail, definitely connect Cape Breton Sailing Charters. You won't regret! If you haven’t gone sailing it’s definitely something you should cross off your list and Captain Greg’s a great guy to do it with. Views are phenomenal and vary pristine.

My son and I had a fantastic half day cruise with Cape Breton Sailing adventures. Not only did we get a unique perspective of the area from the water (impossible to get from the road!) but benefitted from Captain Greg’s knowledge and stories. It enriched our trip so much. The sailing was lovely, hands-on, and fun. Highly recommend.

Captain Greg was fantastic. We had a wonderful sailing experience with him. We got a bit of sailing 101 and could really get the feeling for it. Also great conversation about many other varied topics, all with a great tour of the local area. Had an absolute amazing time and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to see what sailing is all about ! Captain Greg and First Mate Moose were both extremely friendly and welcoming - They made sure everyone was comfortable and we all got a chance to experience sailing . It was a very memorable weekend and the whole group (4 of us) had a blast - 10/10 - Would do this again ! Book today you won't be disappointed

Greg is a wonderful host. So knowledgeable of the lake, Cape Breton, and Nova Scotia history. We had a lovely sail. My husband got to sail the entire 6 hours which was a real treat for him. Highly recommended.

What an experience! Do yourself the favor and do the full day, well worth it. We had a wonderful time learning to sail while relaxing and enjoying the unbelievable beauty that surrounded us. Capt.Greg is not only knowledgeable about the area and his craft but extremely respectful of the areas heritage. When it wasn't my time behind the wheel- ya you get to drive!- his First Mate Moose was showing me the ropes, literally. We spent the entire time falling in love with the area, connecting with the wind and water and enjoying their company. If you need a place to stay in the area, just ask, Capt.Greg has wonderful suggestions!!

Greg and his crew were amazing. Great knowledge of the water, local history, and how to teach newbies the basic of sailing. Highly recommend floating with Greg and his team to anyone stopping thru the area. We did a sunset cruise and it was magical, and the hotel just at the end of his driveway is perfect place to spend the night.

This was a wonderful way to spend a quiet evening with friends. Even though we had a rainy trip, this will forever be one of my top highlights. Captain Greg was a great coach as I took the helm for most of the trip as a very inexperienced sailor. And of course, thanks to Moose for being a great first mate.
