St Charles Country Club

What a beautiful space. The veranda overlooked the amazing golf course. The staff were attentive without being intrusive.

Beautiful golf course with very good conditions, despite being early in their season and a harsher than usual winter. Friendly helpful staff. Played their Woods 9 twice as a reciprocal from my own club...they had a tournament here on their other two 9's. Would love to play their other two 9's if I'm back this way for business.

I've been here twice now, both times as a wedding guest, and both times it's been fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are willing to go out of their way to make sure you are happy and satisfied. Well done!

We (at Amanda Douglas Events) love getting to work at St Charles. Their service is great, their event food is very tasty, and their staff is helpful and the view and remodel of the room - so beautiful!

We used this venue for our graduation reception in November. The venue is a relatively central location and has beautiful scenery. The club was the perfect size for our ~100 person seated event with classy architecture and design. We got some nice class photos inside and outside. We chose the lunch buffet option and everyone was impressed with the quality of buffet food which came out perfectly on time. Tyler was sometimes difficult to reach as it sounds like the venue is so popular for various events but ultimately all of our needs were met. I was very impressed with the service and I would definitely book events here again.

Very poor customer service from Craig Strand, one of the Golf Pros, at St. Charles Golf and Country Club. My son's custom clubs were ordered on 23rd of June and were due on July 5th. It was estimated 5 to 10 working days.Despite being told that he was returning to Scotland where he lives and works on 18 July, the clubs did not come in time. My son called repeatedly (the staff neither listen nor communicate with each other), but they did not bother following up on the order until we began to complain vehemently. Apparently there was a delay"...of which we were never informed. When I asked for the clubs to be shipped to Scotland where he lives they tried to say they didn't know he was leaving (they did!)

Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff work here, specifically the servers. The girls are very disrespectful and sloppy and definitely should not be employed in a high end, well renound club like this one. Paying guests should be more accommodated, but instead they sit waiting for 40 minutes plus to be served while staff giggle and gossip to their friends during their shift. I would book events and take your business elsewhere and only use this facility for the golf course!

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience with our wedding at St. Charles. We booked the venue in 2019 for a 2020 wedding, which had to be postponed because of Covid. We finally had a 2021 date and the provincial restrictions were lifting. The only issue we had left was that St. Charles would not be flexible or accommodate us in any way under the Covid guidelines. Thankfully we were able to find a new venue a few weeks before our wedding. For couples considering St. Charles for your wedding, I would suggest that you look elsewhere. On your wedding day, you want to be treated like the venue's top priority and that definitely won't be the case here.

A beautiful venue, with a very cozy and classy vibe. Dining room and lounge are separate. Service was friendly and fantastic. Food was amazing. Overall my group very much enjoyed our experience and would recommend.

Attended a Wedding there five diamond food and service would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a care free beautiful event . Totally fabulous
