This was one of the best meals I've ever had. We ordered the 'kitchen cook for you' option. Every dish was well prepared, and it tasted great. We were served a variety of seafood. The bartender was excellent as well, very creative and accommodating. I'm glad we got to experience the food here. Highly recommend.

Located in the Alt Hotel, this place was interesting, a lot more upscale than we expected. The food was really tasty but it was very loud, which made it difficult to hold a conversation. Service was fine.We started with the Basil Hayden Flight and some potato bread (this was excellent). My partner had the roast lamb loin and I had the snow crab (cold), both of which were delicious. A little overpriced overall in my opinion, but tasty.

Absolutely delicious. We had a great dinning experience and loved the idea of ordering many smaller plates to taste and share. The service was excellent and the quality for price amazing. Highly recommend.

10/10If you are looking for a fine dinning experience, this place is one of the best in the city.A beautiful restaurant with great ambience and just wonderful service. Food is delicious with fresh local ingredients. Highly recommend giving it a try.

We finally had a chance to try ‘terre Restaurant’ in the alt Hotel last evening. We had heard good things and they were all true! Great food and great service. Highly recommended. Read on if you wish all the details. It was a Saturday night, and they were quite busy. The layout could be called a galley restaurant. Just 2 rows of tables with a centre isle. They have a good selection of unique cocktails. My wife enjoyed a tasty ‘Islay Gimlet’ (Botanist Islay Gin, lemon, ginger wine, and a touch of scotch) and I had a robust spin on a Boulevardier called the ‘Gros Morne Boulevardier’ (Reifel Rye, Gros Morne Coffee Roasters coffee tincture, Campari). It was fabulous. Due to the recommendation of our excellent waiter, Brandon Goodyear, we shared 3 appetizer type dishes. These were ‘Caviar Egg Salad on Brioche toast’, ‘Smoked Mussel Toast with green garlic mayonnaise and shredded cabbage’ and finally ‘Beets with steak spice, sour cream and pea sprouts’. These were all served at the same time. We then divided and conquered. The flavours were all bright and a great way to start. Although I would’ve preferred the beets at room temperature rather than cold. Just a thought. For the main, my wife ordered the Grilled Quail with Organic Farm mustard greens topped with Louis d'Or cheese. Quail can be tough to cook as it dries out so quickly. Terre nailed it. Succulent and so tasty. I ordered the Halibut Filet with carrot puree, tatsoi (an Asian green) and beurre blanc. The halibut was well seasoned, and the crust was perfect. A nice combination of flavours. I just wish there was more of it (a 2.5 oz piece of fish is not on). The mains were accompanied by a bottle of a buttery Chardonnay. Finally, we ordered dessert. These we shared as well. We ordered the Pain Perdu"

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Hands-down one of the best restaurants I've been to in Canada. My server Brandon was attentive, helpful and went above and beyond in making sure I was well taken care of throughout my meal.I got the Let the Kitchen Cook for You" and it was worth every single penny - I just wish I had a bigger appetite to finish everything! Even after sizing portions down for one person

Breakfast but amazing, fancy but not stuffy. Went for breakfast and we were amazed. When you go ask for Melissa. She is a wonderful member of a great team. Our table consisted of 2 people with food allergies and a teenager. She was simply put, a delight. The kitchen was also amazing. Not only did the accomodate, they checked in and made sure we were happy. We were more then pleased.

I stopped by Terre for afternoon tea after reading excellent reviews. They did not disappoint. The food was fantastic and plentiful, atmosphere was fantastic and the view, despite the fog, was stellar.The experience was so amazing I had to go back for their dinner service. We have the Let the Kitchen cooking for you" experience and boy WHAT an experience. Plates upon plates of food came out from razor clams to sishito peppers

Incredible experience at afternoon tea! The food was very quickly served, the staff were incredible and provided us with a good run down of the different food options. Portions were large (not a complaint given the dessert take away box we have). Would recommend in a heartbeat!
