This is a stunning facility. So much consideration has gone into it. There is a longhouse, sweat lodge and roof top healing garden. It is Leed certified.

Without NCFST? My life would be spun out of control! Culture night, cultural events, naming ceremony, sacred fires, head start for My little one, Day camps for my little one, therapy for us both, food bank, culturally sound! The activities around holidays, talking with community Elders, with the community period! All the wonderful people I’ve met and kept as amazing friends? Just walking into the building we feel comforted, like a grandmothers warm loving hug! I can enjoy new teachings and workshops!!! Nothing in life is perfect! Don’t worry about all that! I’ve learned how to cleanse my own soul and enjoy what I already have! I have a great deal! Great wisdom can be found within NCFST! It’s all about how you use the opportunities right in front of you! They terrorize and antagonize residents who they do not like then try to blame the victim. They stole my passport, health card and clothing items and now want to set an appointment for me to pick it up.

A lovely building to visit for Doors Open. The medicine garden and sweat lodge on the rooftop are not to be missed.

I don't know where they find these workers, but they should employ some with training on children or at the very least have children of their own. All I know 100% is that they are not there for the children. So why even have child in the title. Might as well be mothers and family services.

Why does this organization ask for donations all the time? Their non-indigenous employees are receiving six figure salaries. They are receiving millions to continue the legacy of residential schools and continuing to terrorize and kidnap Indigenous children.

Overstepped their bounds causing months of intense difficulty and stress to a nine year-old child, not to mention his parents, one of whom became homeless partially due to misinformation and a completely baseless push on their behalf to have one of the parents removed from the household in question.I used to think that if anyone had questions about whether to call because of anything I did, that they should call and I'd be happy to clear whatever issue they had up. How things have changed. Now, I would warn any parent to keep their mouths shut during any interview. Interviews are not about clearing your name, they're just evidence gathering sessions. I surmise that there is nothing you can say during the interview that will get them to back off at this point.These people are egos on a seemingly justifiable mission, spun out of control.

I personally found NSFT very unprofessional. As they do not practice privacy of confidentiality. Which was verified by staff workers that will tell you that all NSFT files are open and anyone working at NSFT from the social workers to the kitchen help and right down to the janitors have access to clients of NSFT files.As for my background being of Aboriginal decent NSFT is the first time in my life that I have ever been made felt a failure, first time ever been discriminated against, and denied my personal rights as a humane being and all in the act of my own people.I was never brought the so called 'Native' way or by tradition. I ve also felt that just as anyone else that my children were the ones to decide because they have aright to decide. No be forced.I was made to deal with NSFT because of my nationality refused my request i literally begged to go to Toronto CAS. Where at least i know that if i had any issues that Toronto CAS would have and are way qualified to address

This agency withholds supports from indigenous children!! What's up with the Race Shifter Jeffery Schiffer?? Word is he's white and here to cause more harm to children and lie!! Reset your agency! Start again and listen to what the mothers are saying!!!

Try being a mandated reporter who has the stones to report child trafficking on behalf of the little girl’s mother to these greedy monsters. 5 years of my life went right down the tubes with stalking, cyber-bullying, physical assaults, hate crimes, identity theft, etc, after the first mother’s worker let her know I’d reported her. This place is a big part of the reason why women like me decide to have our tubes tied. Kaa miigwetch to this agency!
