Great beer (if you like hops) and amazing atmosphere. I'd recommend this place to anyone who enjoys either IPAs or making conversation. The server Ben was particularly outstanding.

Stopped here more often than I probably should have. Great beers - mostly 6%+ - and friendly service in an unpretentious space. Nice patio out front, and some great food options with Jessy's and Chicken Chop right next door.

I used to be a regular. The stars are for the beer. After the owner acted out like a child towards my brother I haven’t been back. The brewer is NOT the owner. More an indentured servant. Drink the beer. Find it elsewhere. Nearby CHKN Chop, Brown Hound and El Chino have taps, and The Stillwell Freehouse (a great pub only a 3 minute walk away) sometimes has a tap or cask version.

The finest beer in Halifax. Bartenders are generally friendly and attentive. Great for conversation with friends or a quiet afternoon pint. You can count on the music not sucking.

This is our local taproom. I just love this place. Great bunch of people...staff and patrons. A great place to relax and enjoy some good conversation. The beer is the best in Halifax if you're into craft beer. Always a great selection and the beers rotate frequently so you never get tired of drinking the same thing....unless of course you want to. They have some specialty snacks to enjoy with your favorites beer too. They do not serve food, but you're welcome to bring in whatever your heart desires, in to eat. Jesse's Pizza and CHKN CHOP are just steps away.A couple of my favorite beers are 12 Years to Zion, DOA and Flat Black Jesus. I'm sure you'll have your own favorites.

The pub side of Unfiltered Brewing is a great spot to stop for A+ beers and cool vibes. Their IPAs and stouts were amazing, plus we tried homemade jerky and smoked cheese made by the brewer.
