Very unimpressed with their service. I never once exchanged words with Joel personally, only ever his legal secretary. Which yes, they do important jobs, but when I contacted wanting their services I was still trying to understand processes and hesitant to use them, and as soon as they finally send me a quote they already completed hundreds of dollars of work when I had just received the quote? I never said Yes

While I haven't used the firm myself, I've spoken a few times to both Dave McFadden and Trevor Burgis on matters involving friends who I've tried to help with remembering their court dates, getting to court, reporting to probation, etc. Both were very thoughtful, forthright, gregarious, and of utmost importance expressed obviously genuine care and concern for their clients that I spoke with them about.Criminal lawyers deal with a great amount of sadness, tragedy ... clients are frequently very troubled people at some of the worst points in their lives. It no doubt takes an emotional toll on the lawyers, which I suspect few outside of the profession would think.They would be my first recommendation to anyone criminally charged in the Peterborough area.

I have used Joel twice. His legal secretary Christine was very easy to talk to and answered my questions. Joel communicates very well. He puts you at ease.

Fees quoted for buying a home and selling ours were no where near what we were charged in the end. Over $1000 more. We are VERY unhappy with the way everything was handled, and we have yet to even meet Joel himself.
