Buddings Broadway

I can't even begin to recommend Buddings Broadway highly enough. We'd struggled for some time to find a solution for our 3 year-old when our pediatrician recommended Buddings to us.After starting here, it's just been one developmental leap after another, from learning please and thank you, to greatly increased social skills.The teachers REALLY care. Where do you hear about a 3 year-old wanting and excited to go to school after 1 week? Buddings is great! My work is casual in nature so I appreciate not needing to commit to childcare on days and hours when I don't need it. The staff are fantastic - they are very caring and attentive with the children and easy to communicate with as parents. My children both enjoy their time there and I feel that they are well looked after. My 3.5yr-old really likes Big Kids Club in the afternoon - he has such fun experiences and adventures and makes lots of friends.

UPDATE: The center called me back and refunded the charge of the last one hour. So no problem now. Thank you!BE AWARE: this center may force you to change schedule when you bring in your child.Yesterday when I brought in my child with schedule 10 to 5, which was booked online, the teachers told me they could not do the hour from 4 to 5 because there would be only my child at that time and the teachers wanted to leave earlier. So I had to pick up my child at 4 instead of 5 which caused some disturbance of my own schedule.This is clearly the center’s mistake since they could not fulfill the appointment I have made. However, they are not willing to take responsibility. They just give me back the hour but it’s close to the end of the month and we will be out of town so we cannot use this last hour we have purchased.But they don’t care. They just told me I will lose the hour after this month and they would not refund it or let me use it in later month.In sum, I’m just warning those who want to bring their kids that they don’t have good customer service and when you purchase hours, it’s theirs not yours since they can force you to modify your schedule you’ve already made online without any compensation.Finally, the quality of the daycare is OK. They sent you photos everyday showing the kids do have a lot of fun playing in the center.

Buddings has been a lifesaver for us! The flexible hours are perfect for this p/t working mom and the quality of care my daughter receives is fantastic. I started taking her to Buddings Broadway when she turned 18 months and I love that she gets to play with other kids and do fun group activities – things she doesn’t typically get to experience during our days together.It is simply the perfect option for parents who don’t need (or can’t get) full-time daycare, but still need some time to catch up on work, head to an appointment or just have some ‘me time’ while their child is learning some great socializing skills!Plus, booking hours is easy peasy and you can usually get all the hours you need with a little pre-planning. They also open up additional spots for last-minute bookings.I highly recommend Buddings and my daughter does too!

We joined about one month ago after moving to Vancouver.So far I have found the occasional daycare experience fantastic. Booking hours online is easy and they are typically available. The staff are extremely friendly. It has been such a relief as this has been the first time leaving my son in the care of others and I feel comfortable doing so.We completed paperwork online followed by an online orientation. They also offer 3 free hours to introduce your child to the daycare. To attend we buy packages of hours by the month depending on how much we need the service.They provide snacks for a minor extra cost or you can bring your own food. There is a playground visit in the middle of the day which my son absolutely loves.There is parking available for drop offs. I look forward to the videos/photos they upload of my toddler at the end of the day.So far I am very happy we were recommended this daycare.

We were recommnded Buddings from parents who already have their children enrolled there. We live out of town and were on a work trip for only the week. Buddings--and Ayumi in particular--were so accomodating in setting me up on a membership for just the month we were in town and ensuring that we had full day coverage on the dates we needed. The flexible model daycare is a great idea, and even more so when travelling. Our child had a great time in the few days he spent there and quickly made new friends. Would highly recommend!

As a mother travelling to Canada with my 4yr old daughter, it is very difficult to bring enough clothes to last through a few months. But having access to the services that the daycare and 2Loops offer along with a flexible schedule is very convenient and really helpful to me. As well, Buddings and Storybook taught us a lot about life in Canada. Thank you so much Buddings Daycare and the 2Loops program.

We are big fans of Buddings! There are so many things to love about this place- healthy snacks, a commitment to the environment, very fun, friendly and engaging staff and of course the flexible booking. My daughter has plenty of time for free play but is also involved in optional projects, activities and field trips. She truly enjoys her time at Buddings and I feel completely confident that she is in caring hands. I recommend Buddings without hesitation!

My son has been attending Buddings since he was 18 months old, and we absolutely love it. The flexibility is great (especially as a casual employee). But the staff and programming are even better! When the answer to I go to buddings today?" is yes

On the recommendation of our neighbour, we reached out to Buddings to arrange care of our son. We were offered a full time daycare spot at the last minute so our son didn't end up attending Buddings. However, all of our interactions, including the orientation were great and they were easy to work with.
