Baan Wasana Thai Restaurant
After buying groceries around 11:00, this Thai restaurant just open at that time, so I give it a try.The restaurant is empty when I come in, after a while, more and more customers dine in or take out therefore I think the food is not too bad.I ordered two appetizers and a lunch combo which is surprisingly good, the pork satay is tender and tasty with the peanut sauce, the fish cake is a little bit oily but the sour sauce just balancing it. The lunch combo come with soup or salad, the curry can choose from the spicy level from no spice to extra hot, I try the extra hot one and is really spicy according to most people standard but I like it.Even though I want to order a dessert but I am quite full so I will try it next time.Finally, the food is very authentic and the place is very clean, also the service is wonderful too. I would highly recommend this place if you really like hot stuff like me.Update :This is the second time visiting with my wife, the restaurant is almost full house. I order one spring roll & two lunch combos, the spring roll come out crispy and warm outside but cold inside, even the soup is not hot, I hope they can improve in the future, I will continue to come because I love their curry very much.

the pad thai rocks my socks off, it’s my fave pad thai in Vancouver for sure. Don’t get the pad see ew though, it tasted like chemicals when I went and upon complaining, we were told it’s supposed to taste like that. I’ve gotten the pad see ew here and at many other thai places before and it definitely did not taste like chemicals. they didn’t do anything about the complaint even though we hardly ate any of it :( also two of my friends got stomach ache the day after eating this so that might be related to our experience…

Wandering around Vancouver and found this great place. Very friendly and happy staff with great food and very reasonable prices. Super place for a quick lunch; service was fast!

Neighbourhood Gem!The food is delicious and you can pick your spice levels. Everything I ordered was good. Also wanted to commend them for having reasonable pricing still. I added a drink menu to show. It’s still feels like 2019 pricing which says a lot. The staff are very friendly.

First time trying thai curry and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The soup had such a deep and savory taste it was just wonderful. Salad was too simple so maybe it could use an improvement. But overall a great restaurant for a quick lunch.

Very tasty food and dessert. I liked Pad Thai Prawn the most. The Curry Chicken was good. For dessert, I liked Coconut Rice.

Nice little Thai place in Kerrisdale with reasonable prices.They have lunch special (includes soup or salad) for $14. Good green curry with chicken and pad Thai.Spring rolls were hot and crispy but the Thai fish cakes were the real stunners. Perfectly fragrant fish cakes really hits the spot.

This place is my go-to Thai restaurant.When I first moved to Kerrisdale, they were closed due to unfortunate fire, then they could not open during early COVID era. I always heard about this place but could not be able to go, but when I had thier food, wow, I just loved them.Of course they serve great Pad Thai, but there are so many more too eat.I love thier Masamun curry(peanut base, so careful withyour allergies), along with eggplant stir-fry.They get lots of customers for dinner, so if you are craving some Thai food, you should call them up and reserve your table.

Ordered the prawn Thai fried rice, spring rolls, and Thai iced tea. The flavours were very rich and the portions were generous. Service was fast, welcoming, and friendly too.

A small family run restaurant in Kerrisdale. We got take out so not a dine in experience. The beef salad is simple but delicious, favourite dish out of the 3. The shrimp pad Thai and crispy squid was good, but doesn’t stand out from other Thai places. Would come back to try other dishes.
