Centennial Park
Beautiful park, large grounds for walking, snowshoeing, biking. River goes through it. Old log cabins and wagons. Road equipment is interesting.

The new park is super cute, loved hanging out in the rope hammock. There is train tracks that run along the trails that make the perfect candid photos. Great place for nature walks & lots of wild life.

Best dog park of any I've been to. It's nice to have a series of wooded trails along the rivers' edge to walk your dog along. The dogs (and their owners) are friendly and the majority of them have good social skills with one another ... I'm back to just talking about the dogs, though I do find the owners friendly as well ;o)

Níce trails, not too many bugs, park is nice and has a decent amount of picnic tables. Could be more maps showing trial length and directions

I just love taking my dogs walking there! Not only are there Great walking trails, but things to see while you walk! I love all the old machinery and log buildings you can go inside with all the vintage bunks n kitchen etc! Wonderful hill to go sledding on in the winter and animals like ducks, rabbits, etc for the kids or adults to enjoy seeing! Nice big playground for the kids to play in! Just a really family friendly place!

What a great find, maintained by the City of Thunder Bay. Quiet despite being handy to the Trans Canada Highway, convenient to the city without the city traffic and huge RV sites with lots of primacy.

There are some really nice trails in Centennial park, thunder Bay! Many scenic views as well! We went as a group and did 2 trails (a short trail and a long one) before heading back home. All the trails were properly marked and it was barely busy which I loved.

This should get 5 stars just for being so close to my house. How have I been ignoring this place that is pretty much my back yard?I went in the evening when it was cool enough for a big dude to go out on an extended walk.If it is a hot day though, there are a few good spots to get in the water along the walking trail.Excellent place for hiking, biking, tanning or swimming. There was a yoga session going on in the field. In the winter time there is a big hill that is great for family sliding. All kinds of people doing all sorts of activities at Centennial Park.

I love how there’s something for everybody, an off leash section for dogs, a playground and farm for kids and trails for bikers and hikers
