Walked in and didn’t feel very welcomed in. Had no idea where to go. Just felt lost until finally someone asked me what I was there for. When I explained how I wanted my grinch fingers touched up they didn’t follow instructions. I specified I did NOT want root flips and they did anyway. Essentially told me theirs no other way though I never do that method. Eventually they figured it out and followed instruction. But I found the work was a little rougher than others. AND paid $200 for just a root touch up. I specified I wanted the bodies of my dreads touched up too. Only instruction they really followed was not crocheting my roots to close to my scalp. Felt like I wasted my money and didn’t get my moneys worth of maintenance done whatsoever. I suggest going to success 21 hair extensions for any needs.

Had a great experience! My son was able to get a haircut that he loved after being turned away by other barber shops because they were “scared” of cutting his hair.

Althea is amazing! I had small braids done on fine Caucasian hair and they are the best I have ever had! Everyone in the shop/salon is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Got my braids done for the very first time. Everyone was amazing and the lady who did my braids did an awesome job!

Iffy reviews. We were told great thing about this and had issues with booking our other hairstylist so went here. My daughter has biracial hair and we are careful to ensure someone who can handle curls does her hair. While they did a good job they didn't do what was asked and we are upset. 1. We asked for shoulder length, my daughter hair is 3 inches above her shoulders pulled straight its still not at shoulders so not the cause of curls. 2. She did a weird style with one side longer and the other shorter 3. She didn't go with her natural part. Which is the worst part so her hair is a mess now 4. We said we love and wanna see curls, she slicked her hair so straight it was rediculous and the amount of product used on a little kids hair was not acceptable. Will be go back not for them to do her hair no never again. We will return to get buy some coloured hair for braids in the future. It will take months for my poor daughters hair to look good again.They also didn't seem welcoming to a white mother of a black child. Was disappointed about this. Didn't talk to me or my daughter like at all. And I can understand them fully becasue my husband is Jamaican as well so let's just say some rude things were said that I'm assuming they thought I couldn't understand.

Nice atmosphere with task focused workers. I had my hair done there recently and the hairdresser did an amazing job.

Althea absolutely killed my u part wig installation! Love it so would highly recommend.
