Gage Suites at UBC

If you value your sleep do not stay here. No sound proofing, can hear everything around you. 3 complaints to staff and a party still continues at almost 4am. Tiny room too, would not recommend.

We stayed at the Orca House and it was great. The size of the room at perfect, the room was clean, bathroom was so cute and the room came with everything you need. My only caveat was they didn’t provide cooking oil which was annoying to purchase cause you have to buy such a big bottle to only use once, but still that wasn’t a big deal. I’d definitely stay again

I stayed in Gage apartments for three nights for a business trip. While the room was well equipped with a queen sized bed and kitchen, I found the hotel loud. I could clearly hear people next door and in the hall, and one of the electronics in my room buzzed weirdly at all hours of the night. My plug in the bathroom also didn’t work, which made it hard to style my hair for work!! This was unfortunately not fixed during my stay.The grounds were extremely well maintained and I enjoyed walking through them to my room. The location on campus was convenient, and there is a Tim Horton’s nearby. I don’t know if this hotel is worth $250 a night, but it’s probably the most affordable hotel option in Vancouver.

Originally this location deserves 5 stars, but it would be better if they sett up more signs for direction.They oversold ground level parking and assign us to the underground parking - it is clean and bright However, the elevator does not work on weekend even I tapped my card, I have to carry my luggage and walk down the stairs

We've stayed here a few times since our daughter started attending UBC. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with kitchenettes and very comfortable beds. The location is perfect with close proximity to everything including walking trails and the beach. There is even a Timmie's in the building. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and check in/check out was a breeze. They do have parking available for a nightly fee including street and underground parking, which is brightly lit with very generous clearance that would fit any vehicle (over 7' I believe).

Clean rooms, ideal location and very quiet. Rooms have everything necessary for a comfortable and complete stay. Overall, great accommodations and location!

Room is clean an quiet with a small kitchenette including dishwasher. Has a large TV for the room size. Only a block away from a coffee shop (Great Dane)

We have really enjoyed our time here!! This is our first trip to Vancouver and we are so happy we came here. It was fairly affordable(especially compared to other places in Vancouver) but it’s also clean. People working here have all been extremely nice as well. The hotel is also located right next to a college campus as well as the ocean. It is very beautiful walking around streets nearby as well as driving to and from the hotel. I would recommend!

5 star location in the heart of UBC campus. You can do laundry on site as hotel provide the washer and dryer for guests. Our room also have a mini kitchen for simple cooking and good size of refrigerator. Very friendly and helpful staffs.
